I used to like the Naruto storyline, it used to be hardcore. Innocent people were ruthlessly murdered. Revenge was taken on the perpetrators in the form of ten gallon buckets of blood. Hell, children were outright indoctrinated in the methods of war and made into child soldiers at an elementary school where the training itself often got them killed. Even the hero of the show counted as a violation of Article 50, second paragraph, of the 1949 Geneva Convention IV and Article 38(3) of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Now it's as cheesy as 1970's batman, the enemies never really die, the good guys never really die, same characters just get reused over and over. The entire leaf village gets nuked, but then everyone's brought back to life no-harm-no-foul... It's a garbage manga and garbage anime which has betrayed its roots and viewership time and again. I hope Masashi Kishimoto gets cancer.

I never really cared for Naruto or countless other Jump series, but for you to wish cancer on some guy you probably never will meet speaks on how s***** your whole life must be. From what I have seen Naruto was never hardcore, and your colon will probably need some probing soon.

There's a lot of problems with popularity controlling story. Authors really have little say in the matter and if their fans jump ship, they'll be dropped by the magazine.
At the same time, I can kind of understand why these magazines do this, popular manga gets more people to buy it, unpopular manga equals low sales and risk of going out of business.

Oooooh, you got me.

Thank god for people like you. How would multimillionaire sell-outs like Kishimoto survive in this world without heroes like you to defend them?

"Oooooh, you got me"
Who are you, Walter White?

I never liked Naruto (borders on hate),and I'm not defending Kishimoto. You can call him a sellout (and envy his millions that he made by giving his fans more of what they want), but to wish something as serious as cancer onto a complete stranger over show (a kids show that you obviously are too old to enjoy) is stupid.

Waaaaaaa! Mommy, the bad man is being mean. He said he wanted a manga artist, that ran out of ideas a decade ago, to get cancer! Waaaaa!

I care nothing for your sensibilities when it comes to the topic of cancer. Death, no matter how it comes to us, will come to us all. Death is inevitable. Face your mortality and get over your insecurities. You think you can disparage me for having strong opinions about a manga I actually care about, when you don't? By your own admission you don't even have a leg to stand on in this debate, and you aren't contributing to the topic of the thread.

You insult a person with the presentation of no facts; and then have the audacity to claim that his opinion is invalid. How very intelligent and mature of you.

......and your last post contributed to it? I have no insecurities about death (I don't care about death), and I know all people die no matter how they go about life. I think the correct response that I should give you is
That is the only thing trolls like you understand.

Thanks

You can both sit and spin. It was an intentionally over-the-top rant from a passionate nerd. Getting all twisted up about it is ridiculous.

Fending off annoying jabs is a right I claim regardless of situation. I took the time to talk about a manga, and how it has been directly influenced by public opinion. That's the topic of this thread. None of your posts have contributed to the topic. None of them.

All you've done is humorlessly bitch at me for using the word cancer in my farcical rant about Naruto. You even went out of your way to say your issue with me had nothing to do with the manga, or the author and artist. Starting off saying something negative without any constructive support, is troll baiting. Persisting in being a pest is trolling. You are the definition of a troll.
