This whole thing reeks to me...I basically think it is all about self-promotion. Good luck on your photo shoot today!

Gee, man that is really sad and I would advise that person to go to the police to control the situation from escalating even worse :$ . I hope people understand that once something is posted on the net its on there forever.

Just like that. It's inevitable.

1.Sue them to 3rd world poverty
2.As Kalvinh said, kick some ass
3.Have them arrested for handing out child pornography(assuming if said person is still in school, because people who dont go to school know better than taking pictures liek that)

Dont be an Amanda Todd though....

The situation would never happen if they never posted nudes of themselves.

Aren't there viruses out there that can take over your laptop cam? Because I'm just thinking, maybe she didn't take nude photos of her herself... rather, she was changing while someone hacked on her laptop and started recording her changing via her web cam. I don't know about you guys, but I'm constantly on my laptop, and so if I'm suddenly in a hurry to go out, I change in front of my laptop lol (obviously while not on webcam with anyone)

If only there was some way law enforcement's could stop this. I had something similar happen to a friend of mine, and she ended up reporting the situation to the police. But the police couldn't do anything because it was merely a threat and the video wasn't uploaded or anything. It's pretty lame!

Actually there was a article on BBC today talking about how "Law Enforcement" was using peoples Web Cams for covert surveillance.

N-n-n-n-n-necro thread! Get out of it, Saksiss!

On topic: I took nudes once and sent them to a girl. She spread them around, then told me what her friends thought. I'm pretty sure I'll come across them one day on some "young and fat" amateur porno site. Sure the pictures will be there illegally but once something is on the internet, you can't get rid of it. Ever.

Like my flatmate says: If there is something you don't want other people to see, don't make a video or take a picture of it. It will somehow be seen eventually.

Having been bullied pretty heavily for the first 16 years of my life, I have a pretty stark definition of how I perceive bullying. You pretty much have to be in my face insulting me, my person or those close to me for a prolonged period of time before I consider you a bully.

The only part of this I see as bullying is when she told me what her friends thought - I will never know what the people who may or may not see my pictures are saying unless I happen across it, at which point reading the comments is all up to me.

I'm not saying its impossible but its very unlikely that another teenage girl has access and the knowledge to use such a program. There are probably smaller programs that could be installed on her computer and remain hidden from her sight, but that would require access to her computer.

Regarding what you should do, i recommend going to the police then. Even if you did send the pictures to someone, uploading it to the public is considered a crime and that person could get into some serious trouble. Of course that doesnt help much if she actually does it, because they will still be seen by others. Use it as a threat at the very least is the best advice i can give.
