Just like the title says. My ps3 broke the other day (stupid disk drive stopped reading disks). I got really angry and called it fat, and that I would trade it in for a younger skinnier model.

Just wanted to see if y'all had similar cases, and how ya felt.

Yeah same here, my Xbox stopped reading discs also. Got pissed off and started hitting it so it would work, but it didn't. Thinking to myself that I never had this problem 10 years ago with your older model So I hit it one last time and bought myself a new one.

Luckily my PS3 hasn't failed on me yet.

Yup.

My Xbox [The first generation] constantly died on me. If you where to move it even just a little, the screen would blank.

My Xbox 360 also died on me. Red ring of death. x____x

For some reason I still have it thinking I'll fix it some day but like, why bother? I'm tired of faulty systems.

[My Game cube also broke on me but it was an easy fix. The door wouldn't stay shut.]

My Xbox 360 (Halo: Reach Edition) has never broken on me.....but!! My brother did break it. He accidentally kicked it while my sister and me were playing Naruto. The disc went further back than its supposed to and messed up the disc reader. I got it repaired and am now happily playing it again.

On my first PS1 part of the disc spindle broke off.
My second PS1 I accidentally kicked the open lid off in the darkness, I then cradled it in my arms and it sits on my shelf as a sort of sentimental talisman.

My PSP kept pressing the L button on its own and it would stop doing it when I hit it really hard so I kept hitting it and one day I hit it too hard.

My Xbox 360 stopped reading discs so I bought a new one then shot the old one with an air rifle.(That was FUN. )

I have worn out three PS2s and a Wii. You can usually get them fixed for about $25 at a used game shop.

I have gone through 3 xbox 360s and the fourth is currently failing me. The first three were all red ring, one lasted only a month, I was so mad. The fourth one has problems reading disks, opening the disk trey, and freezes at what I swear is an abnormal rate. I've taken the entire thing apart and can get it working nicely for a bit but it always goes back to barely functioning

I went through 3 Xbox 360s. Didn't bother replacing the third one. I just play games on the PC now. Most games come to PC nowadays and are much better there. A decent PC can be built pretty cheaply these days, certainly cheaper than constantly replacing Xbox 360s.

I've had 2 xbox 360 get the rrod and 1 got e74. The 2 rrod were both pretty old, one we bought at launch. The towel trick actually fixed both of them, for a while at least. After 2 weeks one of them rrod again. The e74 happened to an 360 elite, luckily under warranty still.

My PS1 was the worst console hardware wise. I had to use the darn thing upside down for it to read the disc

The very first Xbox, broke on me since I used to play on it all the after coming home from school, it just packed in and wouldn't work. Also my PSP broke on me, one of the buttons wouldn't work so I just decided not to play on it any more.

I have had 3 or 4 360 failures; 2 PS2s with optical reader failure and a xbox disk drive break, but that was a angry EX that caused that.
