I have not and probably never will. I personally can't really get into animes that last for 100+ episodes. They seem long and drawn out. I am a bookworm so I like my stories as more of a good single adventure. Sort of hard to explain but that's that. I'm sure it's a good anime, but it's length sort of turns me away from it.

For me, it's the same as One Piece. I don't wanna start it, get super into it, then wait every week just for one episode. I'll wait.

Detective Conan is always whitin of the top ten of the most viewed anime on TV every week that is aired in Japan. So obviously you are not the only person that still continue watching the show.

Normally I don't like long shows and I don't like fillers either. Spite of this Detective Conan is one of my favorite anime and I have watched until episode 621aproximately and also I watched 13 movies and some of the OVAs too. However I think it has already so many episodes. I'll watch the lastest episodes when I have more time (or at least the ones with a symbol in the list wich you linked) but seriously I wish it'll have a good end someday!

Well, It's because Detective Conan is done well, and the anime staff are good at adding further greatness to what is already perfection. Ok, maybe there have been a few episodes here and there that didn't click, but for the most part they have been stellar from the canon to non canon.

My only beef with the series is that it needs about 100% more Haibara.

You can moderate yourself, though.

I had spent much time catching up on Detective Conan, but decided I wanted to keep a buffer for when I really need a fix. So when I do watch and I do marathon, I go no less than 20 episodes to the current. That's to ensure I always have a couple episodes to watch if I don't feel like watching anything else even if I marathon that close.

So now I use the time I'm not watching Detective Conan to watch other current series, watch series that I may have missed or overlooked initially, or go through my backlog to kick some stuff out that I been meaning to get around to or put off for other interests..

I've heard of it but I've never watched any. I'm starting to get interested but it's the sheer number of eps & movies plus the fact that only a portion of it is dubbed. I like both sub and dub for most shows but I don't want to get into it to find I hate one of them, more specifically the sub.
I say this because I can not stand the sub for dbz or OHSHC and the last thing I want is to hate the show purely on voice acting.

I also though about one piece again, yet my beef with that is there's so many eps that feel like filler with additional filler too. Plus there's the problem of several dub versions. I.e. they change the cast and I got used to one and now it's that version in my mind.

I'll have to seriously consider doing both, especially once I get to the end of inuyasha marathon. Wish I could get all of them in uk, a damn good series. Maybe I'll import from usa at some point.

You guys keep talking like you would have no patience for something you may enjoy. If I got into something I liked that had that many episodes, I would be thankful there are that many episodes since that means I'll have much enjoyment watching them. It is true that the series might seem a little bland at first, but once you get introduced to most of the regular cast you're in for a real treat.

Just started after reading 1st few manga chapters. Awesome concept, fantastic manga and wishing I saw this earlier.

Only found dub so far, shame cos I actually like the cast, though the different names almost made me think it was a different anime. Have to try the sub next. Not sure I could re watch all the dub eps again in sub so soon. Maybe to look back on when I do catch up with sub.

So 3 eps down while watching other shows.

I'm really hoping for a satisfying conclusion once it ends. I'd like to think they'd continue the dub but we all know they won't at this point.

I do believe this will keep me busy for a few weeks/months.

Original anime for inuyasha kept me for just under 10-11 days, even watched filler eps which surprised me, plus the 4 movies. Just wonder when I'll catch up with the current stuff of Conan along with final act for inuyasha.
