Surreal - an assassin, don't piss this woman off
Saetan - the patriarch who has to put up with the lot of them

Kim Harrison's Hollows/Rachel Morgan series
Jenks - loved his Tinks curses

Lisa Shearin's Raine Benares series
Raine's cousin Phalen - notorious person at large

Laurel K Hamilton Merry Gentry series

Doyle - assassin known as Darkness, feared by all

Terry Prachett's Discworld series

Granny Weatherwax - no nonsense witch
Nanny Og - old saucy witch
Sam Vimes - streetwise copper

Octavia Butler's Wild Seed

Anyanwu - an African immortal shape shifter

Wen Spencer's Elfhome series

Tinker - well she sure manages to cause a lot of explosions

Character: Butler

Series: Artemis Fowl

I really loved Butler throughout the entire series. He works to not only keep Artemis safe, but also to steer him in the right direction as he grows up. He has his fair share of purely badass moments and touching ones as well. He is is one hell of a butler and one hell of a friend to the Fowls.

Bartimaeus from the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Johnathon Stroud. That character is just the most brilliant character I have ever read. (except for the anime character Kamijou Touma...)

I enjoy both of those characters. Mine would be
Kevin Parson
Thr3e by Ted Dekker
I'd spoil the ending if I told you why he was my fave, but it has something to do with the title

also
Carl Strople aka. Saint
Saint by Ted Dekker (awesome writer)
He manipulates bullet paths with the zero point field and can withstand an electric chair.
