Maybe asking the question, "Have you ever..." rather I should ask: What anime's have you found yourself starting and during the first episode at some point you say, "What the f*ck am I watching!?!" ...usually I find that those anime's turn out to be some of my favorite's!
Here's one I started today that is a case-in-point: Rinne no Lagrange: Akatoki no Memoria (Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne)... ![]() I love it so far & I totally had one of those moments! lol Now... here is another point & this anime turned out to be my favorite of favorite's: Shakugan no Shana... ![]() |

Serial Experiments Lain...
This is one of those series that went over my head. I want to be able to understand it by myself, not read the explanation on Wiki. Episode after episode, I'm like, "WTF is going on?" |

You get to a point where you watch anime and you don't feel excited nor disappointment. Many first episodes I watch now I honestly don't give a rats ass. It also gets to a point where it is really hard to finish an anime, simply put... it is very unoriginal that it doesn't "click." I was talking with a friend (recently) he just started anime and he is hooked. This was the exact same thing for me at the beginning. Now here I am, explaining the double-edge sword that is anime. tl;dr the passion is dead almost, there is no wtf anymore. |

I still need to get around to watching it again, I haven't read any plot/episode summaries either. |

It's quite amazing how Hentai can still surprise you. Let's end the Hentai talk there. First time I saw Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo ( yes I had to google how bo's there were.) But more recently: Ishida & Asakura ![]() It made me think WTF, but the more I watched it... Well... the more I went WTF. Though I think that's where the show's charm resides. |
Finally got around to Akira

Huh? I didn't get a wtf moment when I watched Rinne no Lagrange or Shana the first time. However, I did get wtf moments when I watched Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita and [email protected] Also, same applied somewhat to Aku no Hana this Spring.
