I always say I'm going to do something than the day comes and I'm feeling to lazy to do it. Than the next day when I do go back to work, I regret not doing it and say I'll do it the next time (which sometimes don't happen). I'm something else

Thanks to us doing our exams early, we've got 11 whole weeks of summer off.

WHAT DO I DO?

There's MCM Manchester Comic Con and that's about it. I'll just watch a load of anime or something. It seems like there's something obvious I could be doing...

I can be like this. "Today, I'm going to read this and watch this and study some Japanese..." I only do some of it, then mess around on the Internet the other part of the day. I could get so much more done if I didn't find stuff to do on the internet.

I know I should but I don't know what to do (well I do it's just the doing part I have a problem with)

That sounds exactly how I would do it.

Then it's the internet's fault we're lazy

Don't say you will do it, just do it. If you tell others you will it takes away a sense of urgency to do said thing. ☺

You're procrastinating on your hobbies. Is that what we're here to discuss?

I enjoy the fact that I do absolutely nothing on my days off.

I've done just doing it before (and without really thinking about it sometimes) but it doesn't happen often.

Not really hobbies just some things but yes. And not just mine but if anyone else had similar situations they'd like to share.

"Right so, today I have to do laundry and then go out and get some groceries and oh yea I need to go and see abou-

Oh right. video games all day."

That's my train of though on a "bad" day off.

Hehehe, good question. We need more details.

In general I'm sure we all have motivation issues from time to time, in the simplest terms DonMoriarty is right, you (we) just need to do it. That being said I know first hand that for some it's unfortunately not always that easy to "just do". It was suggested to me in the past to make a list of things that you want/need to get done then set yourself a realistic goal, even if it's just to do one really important thing on the list. From experience after doing that first task I often felt pretty good that I accomplished my goal(s), and consequently could knock out a few more smaller tasks afterwards, a positive chain effect from the effort.

Now that's just one quick suggestion I'm pretty sure I get where you are coming from, and know that it's all easier said than done. /sigh
