I have always felt different in my family but as soon I started watching anime I was like a stranger in my own house, I even tried to get my brothers into loving it *failed*, But if everyone was the same then the world would be boring. So i'm really glad i'm different.

No, because they always come to me about their problems and I give the simplest expression.

Never, to put it bluntly

I come to my family often for emotional support

We communicate very well

In an imediate family consisting of mostly women and I'm the only guy, I kinda feel like the outsider.

An outsider? No. Thankfully, my parents and I get along very well, and I even get along with my brother, sometimes. I feel welcome in my extended family, as well. We're a big Italian-American group, so they make sure EVERYONE is welcome. You hungry? You must be hungry. Here! Eat, eat! Let me tell you about growing up in Little Italy, back when I used to hop on the rear of the streetcars...

I'm not even alienated because of my otaku-ness. My mom watches anime and cartoons all the time. I even got my bro to watch a few things. My dad is a different story, though.

Sometimes. I am much madder than the rest of them. Mad insane, not mad angry.

Yep, but that's mainly because my family is pretty dysfunctional.

Constantly.

I have a good relationship with my family, but I have never seen eye-to-eye with them. Ever family has a black sheep (usually one per generation). I was the black sheep this generation.

i''ve always been the most unusual member of my family, but they've never made me feel bad about it.

Yeah lots of times I feel like an outsider of the family. Pretty much an outsider of the world. Stuff like that comes and goes though. Life is not for beginners you know. :/

i grew up alone being a first generation family in the USA i was left at home at the age of 7 i remember crying all day and all night waiting for mom but she was working 2 job divorced and only saw her when i slept. growing up alone left me growing up strong. I now only depend on myself and i am used to be alone and prefer being alone
