Saw a post in mangahelpers stating that One Piece will be absent in issue #35, the July 29th issue. True or not, I hope Oda is alright.

Yes it's true. People are freaking out about this? This looks like a regularly scheduled break to me.

Update: Bleach will be on a break from Issue #35 till Issue #40. It will be back in Issue #41 which will be released in Japan on September 9th.

Translation: The break is to prepare for the final battle.

Well, the end is near for Bleach. Again, I never liked it, so this won't bother me.

Thanks to kewl0210 for the translation.

Speculation, but maybe a year or two left for Bleach and same for Naruto.

Not too sure about Beelzebub, but it almost feels like it's building up to a climax.

One Piece probably has like 10 years left.

Kochikame, maybe 30 more years. (LOL)

It has already been confirmed that Naruto will end in less than a year. A couple a years ago Oda said there were at least 12 years left. It's also confirmed that this is bleach's final arc.

About Naruto that's just people talking. All Kishimoto said that the story is reaching its climax and that he has an ending set in stone. He's been saying that he has an ending planned already ever since part 2 began. Heck, many manga authors will say they already have an ending planned. I think Kishimoto once stated that the series has about a year and a half left, but then he said in another interview after that, that the series might go beyond that time frame he predicted.

As for One Piece, again there is no specific number of years left. All Oda said is that he has finally reached the half point of the story after he did the time-skip. So again people speculated that it took Oda 15 years to finish the first half, so it might take him another 15 years to finish the story.

Had a feeling that Cross Manage would end soon. It was taken out of the Jump sampler on Viz's site when they made the v5.

Since Viz licensed Jaco, I don't think they will pick up a new series in its place. It would be awesome if they got Soma though.

I'm actually happy Kubo's taking a break The last few chapter felt lazily done like he didn't want to draw anymore. But the last time he was on a long hiatus he came back on fire with the start of that new badass final arc.

I also think Soma needs to come to the US. Assassination Classroom too if the guns at school thing isn't an issue.

I agree, I'd like both of them to come to the US.

I don't really thing Soma's fanservice is too much for the US jump. I have hope for that. AC most likely will not come because of the guns and the jokes that would get lost in translation.

Here's an interview with Sasaki where he also talked about a few series that wouldn't come to the US (simultaneously, at least).

Forgot about that issue, it's the same thing with Gintama . This is why in a perfect world we would all learn Japanese in preschool...

With Bleach and Naruto ending soon, Gintama has been there for a manga and low rankings so I can see it gone soon, and all the garbage new series their putting out Idk what's going to happen to jump.

Ass Class may be good but it will never hold a candle and be anywhere near the big three or the classics. All there will be left will be OP and Toriko as for battle shonen. They need to find a new author to make a good new series that will stay for a while.

If HxH comes but soon I will be content though. I'm also enjoying world trigger to but again it will never be a classic.

Well I, for one, liked Cross Manage--at least the early part that I read--it was already far enough underway when I regularly started reading WSJ that I've not been following it. I was hoping that some volumes would come out so I could read up to the point that I started WSJ. So, I'm kind of sad that it's going away. I've been handling Nisekoi the same way. Been reading the volumes to catch up with where I picked up WSJ, but I'm getting kind of bored with it already, so by the time I catch up, I may have no interest whatsoever.

To be honest, the only series I always read are One Punch Man and World Trigger. One Piece and Naruto are too far in for me to feel like catching up, and I don't like Toriko or Bleach at all. I do wonder what they'll be adding. I've enjoyed the one-shots they sprinkle in, and I like recently introduced Jaco, so I have a little faith that what happens next may also please me.
