I don't live in Japan so I don't get the Japanese issues. The way this works is that some stores in Japan sell the issues about a week before the release date. Some people buy the issues, and they post the table of content online. You can find all sorts of information about WSJ in the Japanese message board 2ch, if you know Japanese or if you're willing to use a translator to get your way through there. It can get a little bit complicated

Bleach is one of my favorite mangas of all time. But I have a question: if the rankings havent been good for like 2 years now, how come it hasn't been dropped yet? I know that it used to sell well, but if Shonen Jump keeps dropping new manga left and right, I'm wondering why they haven't gotten rid of Bleach yet. Not that I want them to, but I really wanted to make sure it wasn't going anywhere.
Thanks for keeping us updated. Wonder when the anime will return lol

Even if Bleach's sales have dropped, it still sells well, with an average of 500,000 copies a volume. Bleach has already established itself as one of the most successful series in WSJ. Series that are successful and are now doing bad in the rankings will not end as quickly as new series. Reborn, Medaka Box and Nura Rise of the Yokai Clan are great examples. They were successful, they sold well, and then they dropped in the ToC rankings, but they didn't end quickly. Shueisha gives those kind of series a longer chance to wrap up the story and end it naturally.

No news about the anime yet.
