I had mine custom made with all Sanwa parts. I've had it for quite some time now...6 years I think and it's still going strong.

heard great things from the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3.

I usually get pwned in MK or SF, but If you're in it to win it, Hori or Madkatz tournament

Qanba/eightarc sticks r the best. i have a hori real arcade pro ps3 and my bro has a qanba. it is much better. i have tried the madcatz and i am not a fan. i dont have a 360, but the qanba sticks work on both ps3 and 360 systems and pc so u dont need 2 different sticks

I've personally never had the chance to get good with them. Although i'm pretty good at Fighting games. When I play with my Controller I have difficulty pressing diagonal commands and when I'm using the analog I can press forward without accidentally crouching

well I picked up the SCV TE MadCatz stick and after I put on the octagon gate to get rid of the box feel in the joystick I am loving it and only cost me $100

This is the part that I got to remove the boxness of the joystick

I've been thinking of getting a fight stick since my street fighter 4 controller is almost at its end of the life. The buttons get stuck if I press them. Cost me some matches.

I've got a Madcatz SE that I bought for $30 (normally $80) last August from Amazon that I actually need to finish.

Even though I've gone a bunch of times to arcades as a kid i never quite grasped the joy stick well. I'm a great D-pad player, but I do own fight sticks. Since I know i'm not at an expert level or plan to be any time soon on stick, i have your average quality sticks nothing tournament level. I have the Madcatz SF4 stick for ps3 and the Tasunoko Vs. Capcom joystick for Wii but with a converter that works flawlessly for the ps3. Both are decent sticks and good for beginner to medium level players. I also heard they are very easy to mod and replace with parts in case a tournament stick is too pricey for you, or if you want a stick that will grow with you as you improve and head towards tournament level rather than buy an entirely new stick. Hori for this gen i feel has dropped the ball.

yes they are cheep out the gate how ever it will cost you the same in the end just to upgrade them to the TE level stick, thats part the reason why I just dropped the $100 right away for the TE stick

The Soul Calibur V stick is on sale for $70 at Amazon.. Sucks when you don't have any money ATM.

I own a Madcatz SFxT TE, the Hori UMvC3 stick and the Hori Pro V3 SA, which is exactly like the other one but without the art, for my PS3. All good sticks, though I prefer the Madcatz one. At first I hated the square gate it came with but it grew on me and now I prefer it. Sucks that they won't work with the PS4.
