All right guys, here's the news you've all been waiting for! That's right, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club will be joining the ranks of Crunchyroll's Summer simulcasts on Wednesday, July 3, at 12:15pm Pacific Time!

Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club will be available to Crunchyroll's audience in the following territories: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Turkey, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), Spain, and Portugal.

One of this summer’s most hotly anticipated titles, Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club finally makes its debut after months of speculation. Originating from what appeared to be simply a commercial from Animation Do and Kyoto Animation, many fans fervently hoped for a full-length anime from the production studio that had previously made hits such as K-ON! and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

The plot revolves around a group of five high school boys who are all connected by their love of swimming: Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, Rei Ryugazaki, and Rin Matsuoka. The boys are all voiced by an equally appealing cast of actors, with Nobunaga Shimazaki, known for his roles in Photo Kano and Say “I love you”, as Haruka, Tasuhisa Suzuki, also in Kuroko’s Basketball and Saint Seiya Omega, as Makoto, Tsubasa Yonaga from Chihayafuru and Cardfight!! Vanguard as Nagisa, Daisuke Hirakawa of Tono to Issho and Hiiro no Kakera as Rei, and Mamoru Miyano of Death Note and Steins;Gate fame as Rin.

Now feast your eyes on the PVs as the countdown to next Wednesday begins!

Whats up everyone,

Keikawa here, hijacking Lugiamania's thread to deliver another announcement with the addition of: Servant x Service!!

Servant x Service is set to broadcast every Thursday starting on July 4 at 1 pm Pacific Time for audiences in the following territories: US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Central and South America.

Karino Takatsu – the creator of Working!! (a.k.a. Wagnaria!!) – is set to release her second, soon-to-be-successful manga-to-anime adaptation with Servant x Service this season. This series will feature the voices talents from some of the best in the business with our three main protagonists being portrayed by Ai Kayano (Say, “I love you,” Guilty Crown, Chihayafuru), Mai Nakahara (Fairy Tail, AKB0048, Strawberry Panic!), and Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Uta no Prince-sama, Heaven’s Lost Property, Free!).

Moving on to our next Summer 2013 season announcements, Crunchyroll will be simulcasting Dog & Scissors, starting on Monday, July 1, 2013, starting from 12:30pm Pacific Time!

Dog & Scissors will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the following territories: North America, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Scandinavia, Turkey, Central America, and South America.

Based off of light novel published in Japan as Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyo, Dog & Scissors is a mystery comedy series that centers around a book-loving high school boy named Kazuhito Harumi who is killed in the middle of a robbery, but is then resurrected again in the form of a dachshund dog. In his new form, he is adopted by a sadistic, scissors-wielding novelist, Kirihime Natsuno.

The cast includes prolific voice actor Takahiro Sakurai, Code Geass’ Suzaku Kururugi and Bleach’s Kira Izuru, among many others, as the main character Kazuhito, and equally prolific voice actress Marina Inoue, known for roles such as Yoko in Gurren Lagann and Armin Arlelt in this season’s Attack on Titan, as Kirihime. Production comes from Gonzo, known for hit titles such as LAST EXILE and Gankutsuou, with direction by Yukio Takahashi and writing by Toshizo Nemoto.

The availability is pretty good, since it's direct from Gonzo. The Premise to Dog & Scissors is a major turnoff to me, so congrats to those who want to see this but I don't think I can watch it.

I'm not very impressed by PV, but, guess I really shouldn't judge an anime based on that. I'm looking forward to it, it seems humorous so far. ^_^ ありがとうございます~! Thank you!

What a simplistic title... Yay! :)

I'm kind of guessing that the next title will be a TV Tokyo title like Watamote or Gonzo's A Town Where You Live

Watamote could be also be handled by Media Factory. I think it may be slightly too early for those when you have the Gifuu Doudou one from TV Tokyo and Free! from Asahi Broadcasting or Chronicles of the Go Home Club from NTV.

The premise is very weird and a turn off for me too. But so was "The Devil Is A Part-timer!" and its actually a really great series. Jokes, Voice Acting, characters & animation and action are pretty amazing. Because of that series I'm willing to give this one a try now.

Yay for Servant X Service. Latin America will be happy since they're included. Very pleasant news indeed(since I was unsure if Daisuki was going to block it from CR).

yeah, I feel ya. nothing announced grabs my interest.

I still haven't been able to give "The Devil is a Part-Timer" a chance, just not my style.
