J-Dramas, because I'm interested in Japanese culture & language. Never watched K-Dramas.
Hope there will be more available in the UK here this year...

Korean dramas for sure. But I watched quite a few Japanese dramas as well. In terms of Japanese shows, I usually stick to anime instead of dramas.

I've seen more K-dramas, but I feel like J-dramas are way better. But it's weird because I feel like japanese dramas have a better storyline and such, but I personally like watching korean dramas more. I also like watching Taiwanese dramas, but omgg sometimes it's so slow or like I don't know what, but they're annoying... LOL. They put in very unnecessary scenes and the drama just lags.

I've watched more K-Dramas on Cruncyroll than any other. I like drama shows from all regions though. I do wish they would get some more Singapore based shows. I watched two of the four on Cruncyroll and enjoyed them very much. Overall I think I prefer K-Drama though. They seem to have a better mix of emotion and comedy.

I've watched J-dramas all my life. I went through a tear for about 4 months of K-dramas when my Vietnamese friend asked me to watch so that we could talk about them at work (I started with Secret Garden). I stopped after a while, since you realize that every K-drama has the same plot (dickish opa being dickish to heart-of-gold ajushi) written by people that either refuse to or fail to end a story in a suitable and timely fashion. Shining Inheritance was like, 40 episodes too long. I've made mistakes going back to K-dramas, thinking that maybe I'm wrong and I am just over-generalizing, then I watch City Hunter and You're the Best and realize, no I wasn't.

I prefer Japanese dramas.

So easy to finish! Japanese dramas have 10-11 episodes.

There is definitely something about K-Dramas that make them better. I just find it annoying when they use the same song in every episode lol (a lot of the ones I watch do that anyway)

I started off watching Taiwanese drama a long time ago then moved on to Korean drama when winter sonata debuted. lol (wow that was ages ago! )

Then I sort of jumped between Jdrama and Kdrama. I like both of them, but I prefer J-drama ones when they make a live action from a manga. Like Hana yori dango they have all three versions from taiwanese, korean and japanese. And I agree that the korean actors were much better at acting, but somehow I still preferred the Japanese version.

Although overall, I think I still watch a lot more KDramas compared to Jdrama.
