I would say Masterchef because there's more than just dinner service you have to do, there's challenges every week. And if you fail you just don't get ellimenated, you have a pressure test. In my opinion it's a little better than Hell's Kitchen.[sometimes.]

Jamie Oliver all the way. A chef that actually knows what cooking is really about.

I don't really keep up with either of them, but they're both pretty intense/hilarious to watch.

I'd say Hell's Kitchen is more intense for contestants simply because you always have to depend on a team in a fast-paced, aggressive environment until the very end. Most of what you do there is dependent on team work, so someone can drag the whole team down. Not only that, but you rarely get the chance to add your own personal flair to things as a chef. Oh and they all have to live together in the same space while being recorded. No privacy whatsoever.

Love both shows (though Master Chef takes the cake for me; just wish the chefs would stop bothering them while they're in the middle of preparing their dishes!).
