Anyone know a good historical military manga? or something related to historical military?
Currently following Gunka no Baltzar and kingdom manga. Enjoy them both. Though looking for more in the Gunka no baltzar range.

Anyone know a must read manga before dying? i appreciate the help thanks.

If you have not read Hunter X Hunter yet you are missing out. The best shonen of forever in my opinion. If shonen is not you're thing then read Berserk it is possibly the greatest manga of all time.

I love hunter x hunter and i cant seem to find berserk under 50$ anywhere. I have searched on many websites and nothing. Im reading right now attack on titan, hunter x hunter, naruto, bleach, gantz, doubt, judge (soon pre order), vagabond and thats about it.

How about trying Hellsing and Master Keaton (if you already haven't)?
If you want something that's a bit less "intense"... then Hetalia should do the trick.

I'm kind of interested in something with a large cast of characters and or involves magic. I don't know many manga, but going by this list of anime and what I asked for, which ones would I be interested in?

You should try reading Magico by IWAMOTO Naoki... it was published in Shounen Jump and has 8 volumes I beleive. Its fits as both shounen and shoujo... it's a great read.

Description: In a vast world, Emma, a girl with something lurking inside her, meets the magician Shion! What is the "Magico" ritual that will bind them together?! Even if they risk their lives to tread a path of thorns...!

Manga - Dendrobates, Ruler of the land, Defense Devil and Horimiya.

Webtoon and Manhwa (similar to manga but by Koreans and you read left to right) - Noblesse ( Best of all time ), Tower of God ( Great plot and story), The Breaker/The breaker new waves and Crepuscule.

I know more but i can't think of them now but all those listed above are worth reading at least once.

Can someone recommend me a manga which are similar to these; Dendrobates, Tower of God, Noblesse.

What i am looking for in a manga is a strong (physically OR mentally) male lead, who has a secret identity or a dark past. Must have a good plot and story. Doesn't need to have action or romance but i prefer it if there was some at least.

Please don't recommend me some yoai ones.

Thank you

@ kady1993 I would recommend Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion. I find it one of the best manga I have even read, but that is just my opinion of it, and it does have some action in it.

Well, I haven't read Beck but if you are looking for a manga with a story revolving around music I recommend Solanin by Asano Inio.

I personally love Fairy Tail, and it completely revolves around magic with a huge cast of characters. I don't really know anything about the other shows on your list, but that's one you should definitely watch.

For you, Lt.Beefy, I think you would enjoy Vinland Saga -- it's about vikings in Scandinavia, very manly! The fights are well executed, and though there isn't too much large-scale strategizing going on, the politics are interesting to watch develop. The setting feels authentic, it's obvious the mangaka did his work. Plus the art is beautifully detailed, if very gritty. It's also very contemplative about subjects like peoples' place in life, the hopelessness of revenge, and all that good philosophical stuff.

There's also Historie, which is about Eumenes, a secretary and general under Alexander the Great. I haven't read it personally, but it won a bunch of awards and sounds very good. The only drawback is that it updates very slowly, so be prepared to wait months for new chapters.

If you're in the mood for some fantasy, then there's Berserk. It's set in that vague Tolkien Middle Age setting, but with demons and giant swords mixed in. The Golden Age arc has some great battles courtesy of Giffith, but the bulk of the series follows Guts and his (badass) thirst for vengeance. It's a very grim setting, and I'll warn you here, there's some brutal violence and graphic sex scenes, it's definitely adult-only fare.

As you may tell, I'm a big fan of seinen.
