"Helping someone out is not a justifiable reason for you getting hurt" A phrase that ultimately summarize this episode. This episode is a final window of Hachiman's true nature that ultimately is worth reviewing for.

Hachiman's Martyrdom act:

As seen in this second to the last episode, Hachiman ultimately saves the festival by confronting manami for her self gain attitude and her attention seeking abilities. It put her back on track but with a greater price of being hated by everyone in the school after the Cultural Festival. A selfless act with a greater impact but with a extreme sacrifice. Absurdism point of view can be applied in this event where Hachiman's intention of helping was being viewed in a very negative manner. For most of us, being hated with this circumstance is very absurd but Hachiman took it for granted. He is like getting used to this concept of society and he keeps on going onward. I believe that his character was able to withstand this sacrifice for the common good of the school and its festivities.

Yukino's Change of Heart:

Yes, this girl has changed a bit but in a spectacular fashion. She admires her sister and we know that and as she revealed it to hachiman is something extraordinary. Her change of character is a change of heart to her trust level by letting everyone including Yui to do a cover up performance for Hachiman's Martyr performance to let Manami back on track. She was now able to pull this through as a supporting plan for Hachiman to give him time to do the act. Now everything is set for the ending.

Yuigahama is still Yui:

There is absolutely no change whatsoever for her. Same attitude even with her mini arc, she is still almost the same as before. Her cheerful balance to the character however helps the entire progression of the plot. She likes Hachiman that is for sure and she likes Yukino as well. Her character is just a bliss from within and it is a good Main cast who gives us a different viewpoint in life.

The Cultural ending to this Romantic Comedy extravagance:

This is the last arc before the last episode filler arc in the anime. The cultural Festival has concluded and with it, the experiences of our main characters who are in full bloom and Hachiman's Spectacular Martyrdom performance with an absurdism response from the school body. If i may view this in an existentialist point of view, we can say that we made our choices right and all of our happiness and decisions will be based on our own efforts and circumstances. Our characters proved it by working hard for the festival and trying to make things back and running despite of setbacks that Hachiman ultimately took the blame for everything. In Hachiman's case, he was being hated but hey, Yukino might fall in love with him for some reason. It is absurd for some but being an optimist, i got some close friends with me so why bother? A very cultural ending that everyone has a part to share not just the main characters who bring the ending together. All characters has a share to their performance. From The Fujoshi being who gives us the trap performance that the fangirls loved to Hachiman's Philosophical act that ultimately moved us and i think most of us are in favor of Hachiman's feelings right? That means that this anime has a very philosophical and values in it.

Overall:

A well done execution of the plot with a quick resolution for some. No fillers just a straightforward response to a cultural ending that made our manly tears shed for Hachiman and our noses dripping for the Trap scene plus a gentle smile when Yukino waves her hands to Hachiman in the previous episode. This episode is a good ending for the Cultural Festival arc and a good transition for a clean filler end of the anime. Who knows what will happen but one thing is for sure, Everyone shares the burden of Higikaya Hachiman. A true pinnacle of a human progression in life in terms of sacrifice for the greater good of the society despite its setbacks. Let us reflect on Hachiman's action as we conclude to this review. Thank you for reading and i hope that i shed some light of what the anime tells us in this episode.
