Most emotional episode so far, had to pause the video a couple of times. Really felt bad for Chihiro, but I'm over it now lul. It wouldn't be as fun anymore if Keima fell in love and stopped doing his conquests.

Yeah, the world would probably start falling apart. ;)

I see that being more OVA oriented since this is a more serious plot focused arc. But then again, season 1 and season 2 had those ending episodes lol
I'll personally lean more towards not ending with that particular chapter.

After the heartbreak, I think there's still hope for you Chihiro fans, the manga certainly hints that Chihiro and Keima's story isn't over yet.

Ep 9

Count me in as one of those that felt sorry for Chihiro. He could've just as easily have said that he liked someone else, without tearing her to pieces...

The PV (for ep 10) looks like things will get a bit more interesting, and Haqua appears to be out of that jail cell!

I can't help but feel sorry for Katsuragi because it seemed like he actually did like Chihiro but as soon as he found out that she didn't have a goddess inside her he knew he couldn't be with her, maybe he thought it was for the best that Chihiro hated him. that way she wouldn't become involved and her life wouldn't be in danger.

Then you have the badge with the 6 Jupiter sisters as the six sides of the hexagon but then you wonder about Majima who seems to be at the heart of it all and she is a goddess

Demeter you mean? (For the school crest)

Yeah, the more I reread/rewatch the goddess arc the more I'm convinced Keima actually likes Chihiro.

If you re-watch this arc you'll notice Keima relying less and less on video game knowledge and actually screwing up, but actually becoming *gasp* human.

But during Chihiro's first conquest, even though Ayumi had forgotten her conquest, she still felt fond feelings towards him.

Well, it has not been revealed exactly when Ayumi got her memories of the conquest back. Kanon and Shiori lay out the sequence for us. Going by Kanon and Shiroi's cases the girls do forget for a while and regain the memories as their goddesses begin to awaken, Logically, since Ayumi was the first, she should have been the first to begin to remember, Which could have been before or during Chihiro's first arc.

I also find it weird that Vintage is trying to kill the 6 goddesses. How do the 6 goddesses actually pose a threat to Vintage and their plan of bringing back old hell. they have mature loose souls as well so they must be planning something big. Also New Hell already seems to be in Vintage's control and I think Norma is working for them.

Putting my answer in a spoiler tag because I don't think the anime has explicitly said it.

As for Nora (manga spoilers, but nothing that hasn't already happened or been changed in the anime):

I think there's a hint that Keima has for some time had latent, unrealized feelings for Chihiro. Most of the girls have been hostile at first and Keima shrugs it off. but Chihiro's abuse sends Keima in to a depressed withdrawal. His extreme reluctance to engage in her conquest (and for that matter to involve himself with Tenri / Diana) could be taken as indication that she (and Tenri) hit uncomfortably close to home.

And there you have the "core" story of TWGOK. IMHO.
