No idea how they are gonna "save" this world, no indication of it. Next time i suppose Dee and Alis are going to confront each other...

Though still not as good as the initial arc in this series, this storyline has gotten fairly interesting. I guess the season will wrap-up with the obvious confrontation between Alis & Dee. I doubt Ai will be able to save both.

There are 8 light novels so far in the series, so I expect there's enough material for a second season, if the sales are good enough. If this season ends well enough, I might be interested in more.

I believe someone said earlier in the thread that it's not selling well in Japan. Something about the viewers being confused.

I don't find it confusing. Rather, it was disappointing to see it switch from a story about Ai to a story about Ai solving the mystery-of-the-week. What's worse, Ai's character is developing too slowly for my tastes. The current arc has some promise in that respect, but we'll see what happens after next episode.

Still, it's a shame if it isn't selling very well. It's an interesting world.

Just got in to the series and I'm pretty much enjoying it. However Ai looks a lot like Sakura from card captors, that just could be me though.

I was thinking about rewatching that show just last night. I haven't seen it in ages haha

I hope they end it well. I was kinda disapointed with how the show seemed to switch plot like 4 times now. idk, I just felt like the 1st was cool (with her pops) , I loved the 2nd part (city of dead), the third part bored me, and though this part seems better than the third I feel like it isn't making any progress for the overall story/ concept.

I agree, each section and I assume novel seems a bit disjoint. The first part was my favorite too. 2nd and 3rd parts weren't so good but this latest one is better. Still beautiful scenery, characters and music but the story seems like it is back on track now.

Yeah I agree. The Goran academy story was kind of unnecessary. "Oh you know all those characters you just met? Well, they all decided to stay at this one house that you'll never see again". It just seemed kind of pointless. But I have really loved the last two episodes, and the series has gotten very interesting again. (And of course the scenery/music is still top notch)

This show can be a downer some times, poor Dee.

It does feel like they do not know where they want to go with this show. Perhaps show there is more than one way to save people other than burying them when they are dead?

Edit: This just hit me. If Dee died 14 years ago & God left 15 years ago, shouldn't Dee be a walking corpse? She would have gotten up from falling on the ground, unless the logic is she damaged her head so badly she died permanently.

One of the best animes I've seen, especially the first two arcs. The Goran arc was completely unnecessary however, and was probably used just to introduce Dee and Alis into the mix.
The final arc was very well done, but I found the saving of Alis to be a complete cop-out. And also, can anyone please explain to me how at the end, Dee was not in a spectre form in the outer world after she was in the first place and also why she was in the first place?

Man, I can't believe this is over. It was so good, each arc drew me in and got me close to the characters. Very well done. Each episode felt like a movie. Just amazing. Can't wait for more!
