Michana here to announce: Chronicles of the Going Home Club which starts this Thursday, July 4th at 12:30 PDT.

Now, let's send it back to Lugiamania with a big ol':
Welcome to the start of July as we kick off the week with MORE Summer 2013 simulcast announcements! Crunchyroll will be adding the historical action anime Gifu Dodo!! Kanetsugu and Keiji to our summer lineup, starting on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 11:00am Pacific Time!

Gifu Dodo!! Kanetsugu and Keiji will be available to Crunchyroll’s Premium members in the following territories: North and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, and to Free members in the following territories: US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and South Africa.

Taking place in an alternate telling of Japan’s warring states era, Gifu Dodo!! Kanetsugu and Keiji focuses on the possibility if the famous daimyo Uesugi Kenshin had an illegitimate child. The champions of the Warring States era - Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu - knew, desired, and feared the truth... Hiding within his heart the secret of his lord's illegitimate child while risking his life to protect him, Uesugi Kenshin's chief retainer, Naoe Kanetsugu, teamed up with the legendary warrior known as history's most flamboyant warrior, Maeda Keiji. In an age of inconceivable rivalries between warlords, the two men, though different in position and rank, were lifelong friends and kindred spirits who would die for one another. Never once yielding to any number of powerful men, Kanetsugu and Keiji continue to blaze through the turbulent latter days of the Warring States era, faithfully fighting for justice and their own way of life...

Originally based off of a manga created by Fist of the North Star author Tetsuo Hara, the anime adaptation of Gifu Dodo!! Kanetsugu and Keiji will be directed by Bob Shirohata, whose other works include Hetalia and Gravitation, with Studio DEEN of Hakkenden and Hell Girl fame animating the show. The cast includes Daisuke Namikawa, also known for his roles as Ulquiorra Schiffer from Bleach and Shota Kazehaya from Kimi ni Todoke, as Naoe Kanetsugu, and Takuya Sato, Cardfight!! Vanguard’s Toshiki Kai and Caesar Zeppeli from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, as Maeda Keiji.

As always, be sure to keep your eyes here to Crunchyroll as we continue with even more new title announcements!

Expected this. I have a good idea on what one of the other ones is since that got revealed over the weekend by Aniplex of America and ANN. It will be interesting to see if Chronicles of the Go Home Club or Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist get announced today. (Although Tamayura would be a pleasant surprise)

Just point where you find these bishounen? I mean the "shounen" part. True, that the image have that shoujoish feeling, but from quick search, manga it's based on is classified actually as both mature and seinen.

I will probably watch the first episode since it's actually not region-blocked for me(or i read wrong).

Your view of bishounen seems rather warped...
Keiji is straight up GAR. You can see it in the very design.

GAR with pearl necklaces? Alright then...

That isn't a pearl necklace. I mean, have you ever seen any fantasy warring states anime?

Secondly, do you know who Tetsuo Hara is? The kind of work he creates? Probably the manliest of all GAR.
Look, no offense meant, so no need to get all snarky. I just want to point out a flaw and an observation.

Very likely that Funimation(and eventually Hulu) will be the only places for that.
