I've personally taken to telling his exact same joke wherever I go, nowadays. Not to troll, but rather, in protest. For what little that's worth.

The only thing worse than living in a military state is living in a police state.

America is the least 'free' country I've ever been to and the police force is the largest armed gang in the states. Their government backing makes people think they are some sort of public service thing when, in fact, they do not serve the citizens. They merely serve the system. And the system is increasingly more controlling and more corrupt.

F*** the police.

My Dad almost got arrested for bringing the Anarchists' Cookbook to school.

I have to say, can't help but laugh at this. For me, it's not a matter of current events and whether you know them or not, but the fact of the matter is, a threat is just that. A threat. I threatened to kill my Spanish teacher Senior year cuz I was tired of her shit. Retard rats me out, and I'm expelled.

Words. Whoever thought up the phrase, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me was high on marijuana and should be stoned to death like the hypocrite they were.

I can understand the whole terrorist deal. But 911 happened practically a decade ago and the fact that we're still anal about someone's sarcastic voice on terrorism doesn't say a lot about the maturity of our nation.

Then again, this is coming from a guy who says fuck censorship, so if you're a Puritan who believes everything is evil, please, sue me, rob me, and threaten to hang me before knifing me to death. Thank you, and this is Zachman's smartass quote for the day.

Now excuse me, I have cops waiting at my door for a sarcastic but truthful post I made in an anime forum on the Internet.

Edit: Read the story. My laughter at America's stupidity has turned to genuine crying. This is pathetic, and I hope this man gets freed. Puritan bastards lock up more innocents than actual evil people.

I don't think he should be put in jail but he is indeed creepy. He should have never said that since it is inappropriate but he shouldn't be in jail for it. Slap him with a fine and ban him from the game in my opinion.

Being overly sensitive is just as bad as being abrasive. This whole thing just stupid. Donated and signed. People get lighter punishment than that for real crimes.

This is really dumb, the kid does not deserve to go to prison. Sure it's kinda not a good thing to say to someone but cmon he was obviously just kidding. Pretty ridiculous if he actually serves 8 years for this. It could also be a possibility that whoever brought this to the authorities wasn't really concerned at all just wanted to screw with this guy and ruin his life.

Welcome to oversensitivity. Welcome to the surveillance state.

Honestly, how many of you have said or typed worse? Every single one of you.

This kid is getting put away for 8 years, longer than the average assault term in the US, for an internet comment.

What a joke.

8 years in prison "a little harsh". Yes, I'm sure the kid will be thankful for that lesson when he is forced to join a prison gang.

God bless Amuriker. We caght teh terrorist we are saved! Dey haet us fer our freedumz! Best cuntry in teh world!
