Argh... I want the game, but I don't know or understand Japanese.... DX

The game does look cool, though... Ah well. :(
I'm a broken record on repeat but have been saying for years: Learn Japanese, it's totally worth it! No more waiting for games, manga, and anime to be translated. And... you understand what they meant, not what some translator chooses to say.

The PS Vita game is great! I love the story. The game itself is done simply, mostly backgrounds plus characters they combine together so there isn't much in the way of animation but the voice acting is original anime actors, top notch and the story is great!!!

PS Vita Game Spoilers

WARNING!!! MAY SPOIL THE GAME FOR YOU!!!

I may have to wisp you for more spoilers if I can't get a hold of the game!!!!
Anytime... not sure they'll localize it but you can buy it online with a Japanese PSN account if you don't want to import it.

SNAFU, White Album 2, Infinite Stratos 2 Ignition Hearts, Sword Art Online, LoveLive!, et al.... so many games on the PS Vita which is region free but which I don't think they'll be localizing. Maybe LoveLive! and SAO? I dunno. I don't want them or wait for them, I buy the originals.

Yea, I saw on the Snafu thread you had that too!!! Another reason to figure on how to read it lol. This will have to be my summer homework once school is out for summer break. That and I would be able to import more Rozen Maiden merchandise

Believe it or not, these games are really educational! They are great practice, VNs since you can go back and re-play and re-read the past lines to hear and read what you missed. You can learn kanji as you go by listening and reading along at the same time. If you don't hear it correctly, just go back and listen to it again.

SNAFU is really fun too. So many fun endings, it is hard though, the love meter games are tough and you do need to read Japanese to figure out which ones to choose!

And White Album 2 is awesome! It has the whole story and all side stories. Great voice acting, wonderful music. Not many choices but great stories.

Games are great deals too. I also buy the Blurays and the manga but the Game is a great deal, tens or hundreds of hours of play for the same price as an import Bluray. The anime is the best, granted, but the games are such fun. Hours of work by our favorite VAs, great stuff.

Especially since some characters got short shift especially in Rozen Maiden this season, they really skipped a ton of stuff. The game gives them all a chance to shine.

That is awesome! More Suiseiseki and Souseiseki = epic. Well, all of the characters for that matter. Hoping that a second season comes out to flesh them out as well.

There is a lot of DESU in the game LOL

A lot of kashira from Kanaria too.

Oh, and more Saito-san spoilers from the game, including one perhaps important NON-spoiler:

But I don't have the time or money to learn a language as complicated as Japanese right now.

It really isn't that complicated or expensive in money but you are right about the time investment. Saying you will learn Japanese for 30 minutes a day or over the summer is... not going to happen. You have to be madly obsessed with it but... having an obsession or let's call it a goal of being able to play PS Vita games in Japanese is really, very good incentive to learn it. It really helps. I would recommend 40 active hours(studying, reading, actively watching/listening) and 40 passive hours (listening to music or radio in the background, having Japanese OS on devices, being in Japan in daily life on trains and restaurants to soak it in) of Japanese a week for a year likely before you're able to play a game. Living in Japan is the best obviously as you get at least 16 hours of Japanese a day assuming you aren't hanging out with other gaijins all day. But you can do it here as well, 5 hours of study, 20 hours of anime, 15 hours of manga or novels, 20 hours of games, 20 hours of music/drama/radio listening per week and you're there

Yes, it's a lot of time. 4000 hours I recommend.

I need to make/get flashcards for the hiragana; I'm up to about 20 from writing exercises but I need to mix up the order to fix the sounds in my head properly and then I realized many look different printed then written with a pencil.

...

Or this website might work.

Just something so I can get all the hiragana down and start working on basic vocabulary and sentence structure.

Now I want this to get animated x100000000 after reading. That would be epic! We need to make a time machine to see if this happens

That's where you start, then shounen and shoujo manga is within reach. But not games yet as they don't have much furigana.
