Same here. Regardless of how this series goes I can't wait to see more of Kirakishou. That scene with her eaten Hinaichigo was very disturbing. She's sick. It just makes me wonder what more can this Yandere(assuming she is) could do.

Now that we are done with the rewind episode, things have definitely improved. I would have expected the game to restart sooner, but I think I like this approach. The "message" at the end was a nice twist.

As far as the anime goes, I haven't watched any of the previous seasons, only read the manga.

Today I finished volume 8 of the manga, thus ending the first series.
I was royally pissed at the ending. I couldn't believe it. After ranting for ten minutes I went to read the second series.
I hated it even more when I saw it was an alternate universe scratching off the previous series and retcon-ing the whole thing.
It wasn't until I reached the last page of chapter 44 (the first chapter of Volume 9, the beginning of the second series) that my mind was blown.
The second series DOESN'T kill the first one. According to what I understood at the end of chapter 44, this series is going to unite BOTH universes! OH MY GOD!
That is just... epic in so many levels!
I'll take a break from the manga tonight and continue reading chapter 45 and the rest of Vol. 9 tomorrow. I'm loving the way the story goes.

For this Zurckpulen season, I only watched the first episode as soon as I finished chapter 44. Literally like 10 minutes ago.
I hated how they butchered the whole first series. It is disgusting. They should have just remade the whole thing properly....
I plan to follow this new season but that doesn't mean I'll stop reading the manga.
Tomorrow I plan to finish Vol. 9 and then come watch episodes 2 and 3 of Zurckpulen.

I just wish someone would just license the manga sequel and license rescue the prequel as well! If not Viz, then Darkhorse or Yen Press!

I think people are given this false sense that Crunchyroll is always the first to have x anime at the fastest time...

I don't know what made some think that but seriously that is really wishful thinking, given this site does provide a very fast service it isn't always the fastest.

Those are all (pirate) fansubs. Those sites merely provide links to storage servers where people have illegally uploaded unlicensed video captures of the broadcast, nearly all of them of very poor quality. CR is a legitimate site which obeys the law and adheres to the license agreements with the publisher. Those other sites do not pay anything back to the anime producers.

CR gets to legally store, caption, and stream the shows themselves and also makes them available on many different convenient devices: Roku, Android, PS3, Xbox, psvita (coming), Apple TV, IOS, windows phone, Google play, so there's a lot of work to be done to present the video in all the formats with captioning for each.

The permission to do that comes with having to adhere to the time when the publisher agrees to allow them to make it available, (or in some cases when the publisher finally gets around to distributing the shows to them). That distribution doesn't always happen flawlessly either, it's not really the publishers' primary focus, after all; their target market is ad-supported broadcasting and merchandising in Japan, and sometimes there are delays.

If you wrote books or music for a living and doing that was your sole means of income, would you want someone else to make hundreds of copies of your work and distribute them, making tons of ad-supported revenue for themselves off of your work, but not give you anything for it, and for that matter, not even credit you for your work, and on top of that, without even asking you first if it was OK? CR supports the Anime industry by paying fees from subscriptions and ads, to be allowed to stream the shows, which provides the industry with additional revenue to keep on producing more new anime every quarter.

That said, at least part of the blame for the way things are could be said to fall directly on the producers themselves being too narrow-minded to realize that the best way to avoid piracy, or make it just not worthwhile, is to provide a faster, better (higher resolution) legal service by releasing all the streaming licenses world-wide to at least someone like CR and allowing the shows to be broadcast at about the same time or at least very shortly after the show airs, thus beating the pirates to the punch. CR is doing as much as it can about the quantity and the quality parts, getting as much as they can, keeping costs in mind to air then as soon as they legally can, but Japan seems to remain unconvinced that we live in an on-demand wired world now.

TL;DR: CR is legit, and follows publishers' rules strictly to stay in business, pays fees to the industry. Pirates don't care about any of that.

Episode 3

Shinku <3

Good episode. That store manager is an asshole though but glad that Jun made it through with his doll making skills. Oh and for some reason, I got Another vibe from this episode. (again)

Ep 3

Really good ep! For a little while though, when younger Jun was telling older Jun that he still needs this thing and that thing to complete Shinku, I was starting to fear that it would take another ep or 2 before she could be completed, lol.
Also, looks like Saito really might be a little interested in older Jun (and I like how they played romantic-like music during the call)... loved her remark too when the manager was saying that Jun had a lame ringtone and she responds with, "Yes, I have the same one."

I love Saito! I love her VA, she played Misaki Mei in Another among other roles but she has really turned the "cutie voice" up a notch in this one, hnnnnnnnnnnng!

Enjoying this one immensely.

It's the chrome plug-in... thanks, I have removed the doppleganger :)

This is a surprise favorite for me too along with Watamote. Of course I expected to love Monogatari SS and I do but these other two were unexpected.

Rozen Maiden so far has been much more suspenseful, more interesting than just a doll fighting show. We shall get some doll fights and they'll be good, don't get me wrong, but this isn't a one dimensional show as I was expecting, it has depth, much more to it, much more going on.

Edit: and how could I forget that Natsumi Takamori also played Misaki-sempai in Sakurasou! She is a talented VA in that I hardly recognize her in her various roles, I have to look it up, not like many other VAs that only have one voice.

I agree! I have only been a fan of the manga for three weeks but I would collect the whole thing.
Lately some series have come back, like Sailor Moon and the CLAMP manga that Tokyopop used to own.. so hope is not dead... ><

Great episode. I enjoyed Jun's past retold, but that was such a big deal and a mystery in the first series that now I have to accept the fact that they have no plans in properly adapting the first series. :<

Kirakishou found out about Jun who did not wind trying to build Shinku a temporary vessel. That can't be good.
I'm worried about them now, although Jun who did not wind isn't a medium yet so maybe he's safe....

Edit: Guys, I just watched this video and... all I'm going to say is that I shed tears of laughter. x'D

This is shaping up to be the best for the season. I especially love College Jun's lines.

What’s impossible stays impossible. No matter how hard you work your ass off and become talented at something… Once you step outside, you realize that it’s a tiny, insignificant thing. And you start to see the ceiling of your limits, of how much you can do.
