I didn't watch anything between 2002 and 2009 as I had been dependent on broadcast anime and absolutely nothing on tv appealed to me. And I was (and still am to some extent) too poor to buy massively over-priced DVD's.

From 2009 to 2010 I watched Naruto. I didn't really like it though it was more of an experiment as my first foray into streaming anime online (watched on Hulu which was nice since they still had 15 second ads at the time instead of the 90-120 second monstrosities of today).

In 2011 I watched Rosario + Vampire on Netflix which I think is what really got me back in. After that I burned through all the good series on Netflix, then moved onto fansubs and burned through many many series, then finally settled on Crunchyroll as I wanted to give better support to the industry and devoured their catalog. Then Funimation and TAN, though memberships for those crappy sites were short lived I'd say I've watched about 200 series in the last two years. Crazy.

For most of the 2000s I was reliant on video store rentals, toonami and ani-mondays on Spike for my anime fix. Then I got Netflix and watched (devoured) Hell Girl. After that I've been moving through anime at mach speed.

I used to watch the animes they had on Adult Swim and Toonami. Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell, Fullmetal Alchemist, and then quit watching for a while, then I watched Gunslinger Girl and a couple different ones on Netflix then I got hooked again and here I am.

I don't really get out of anime. it's kind of a frequent interest to me. But a while ago, I stopped watching it because I was too busy, and I all the episodes I was watching started to get pretty boring. I stopped watching anime, and any TV shows I was interested in for about 2 months. Then I saw Magi, and saw people's reviews and what they were saying. So I gradually started watching it again.

I used to watch all my anime on toonami, kids wb or whatever they had saturday mornings. After they stopped showing all those on regular t.v i didn't watch anime for a while. One day i discovered hulu which i saw they had naruto on, at the time i haven't seen it in a long time so i was interested in watching it. After that iv been hooked.

I stopped watching anime around the time when I was finishing High School.

I want to thank Attack on Titan and Durarara! for reminding me why I love anime. Also, Fairy Tail.

back in the day i only watched like bleach, naruto, one piece, fairy tail, normal action anime stuff but then i started running out of series to watch, so i picked up SAO because it was on the front page of the anime site i used. I really loved the first few episodes but having real romance in a series was a strange concept to me so I didnt like it but soon realized i want more. so i did some digging and found Bakuman which gave me a whole new perspective on anime/manga the whole industry, so now i try to give anything a fair shot.

TLDR: SAO gave me Bakuman which helped me find everything

I stopped watching anime when Toonami stopped airing DBZ. Years later I started watching anime again when FuseTV aired Tenjou Tenge and Ergo Proxy but stopped watching when both series ended. Then last year in March I got back into anime after seeing Elfen Lied and I haven't stopped watching anime since.
