I got Bluray 1 yesterday with OST CD1 and it is awesome!!! The Noise especially looks way better in the final version. Soundtrack has apple, the moon is a harsh mistress and the tri burst swan song et al.

And the best thing is that almost 11000 other people also bought it! It did way better than season one which sold 4.5K the first week. So it is following the Lyrical Nanoha pattern. Come on Symphogear Strikes season three!

still waiting for CD Japan to ship my order, because for some reason they have Hataraku Vol. 4 release date as the 16th, even though everyone else I saw had it as earlier this month..

happy to see large sales numbers. a 3rd season would be awesome!

yea, I didn't even bother waiting for the troll subbers. I saw another subbed version on the usual metasearch site I go to for anime and grabbed that one.

To all Symphogear fans, might want to check this out:

That's right. Symohogear G sold over 10k! Third highest selling anime of the season, only behind Brother's Conflict and Free! First time I've seen a 2nd season do so much better than the first and I'm glad it's something I think deserves it like Symphogear. I'm a very happy man today.

Surprised it did that well. There were some really good scenes and it had a lot of potential, but it was ruined by the over the top cheesyness and shallow action.

Ruined? Cheesy? To each their own, I loved it! And for the moment at least (until Monogatari SS comes out) it is the 2nd highest selling show of the season!

Yeah, there were some really good parts, but I was cringing the entire last episode - it was the whole "lets save the world with the song of our hearts while holding hands" kinda thing and the action in the last couple episodes is just flashy with good animation - no real combat/fighting epicness

I loved that! And I think it is the whole purpose of the series, of Hibiki. To bring them together. All of them, both 'sides' really wanted the same thing, even Fine in a way. Only Dr. Ver was strangely a bad guy so the ending was fitting there for him as well. All of them, saving the world together was completely appropriate and fitting to me. All of them together, holding hands, combining their power to victory! Cliche, trope, cheesy, sure but give me all that and more I say!

Oh and the singing is what this show is all about. I've said for a while, it is really a musical anime more than it is an anime with a soundtrack and insert songs. So you can't have Symphogear without the singing. Singing is how they activate their Symphogear! How can they do it without singing? I really loved how they were all together but they joined in one by one.

And clothes destruction. Have to have a lot of that... and the transformation into mecha modes again, and then the flying colors...

To each their own but I loved it!

Going to be a long wait to see it properly though... 4-5 months until my collection is complete! But I can watch volume 1 over and over until then...

Hibiki is a pure, logic busting super hero, and I love that about her. Pretty much breaks ever rule of the universe by sheer willpower and guts.

and Ver got the end he deserved. No fame of any kind just some chump who gets locked in a cell and forgotten by the world.

Chris still my favorite though.
Hope they get a 3rd season someday

Well, at least we'll get two OVA episodes next year, so that's something to look forward to. I just hope it's something slice of life related. That was a little bit lacking in the second season.
