I'd like to maintain my original body as much as I can, being turned into dust makes you feel insignificant, and I'd also like to have my casket be shot into space so aleins can find me and bring me back

Buried..I guess. Death, in my opinion, is the end of everything - body, soul, and anything in between. So I don't think people should do anything with the dead after the fact. I don't necessarily want to be buried, either. Just let me rot where I fell, and I'll disappear eventually..I think that's how it works, anyway.

First you get eaten by large scavengers. Then you get picked apart by smaller animals and eventually insects. You may also become a temporary home for said insects. Eventually your bones sink into the ground and you disappear. It is a very natural process, but you can't blame people for not wanting to end up as dog shit and maggot food.

I can and I should.

Start the Soylent company. Kill two birds with one stone.

That or Tibetan Sky Burials.

Cremation would be the best overall though. It does not take u space then no toxins leaking into the environment. I'd rather end up as ash than goo.

I'd like to be buried deep underground in a degradable coffin and away from the water table so that I won't be contaminating drinking water or bringing diseases on living people on the surface. It would be neat to have my bones discovered one day and the finder wondering who I was in life and how I came to be there, even though they will never figure it out and I will never know that anyone will ever find me, or when.

Cremation would be okay, too. As long as my ashes are scattered. I don't want to be collected in a jar for use as a mantelpiece unless the jar is sealed and buried deep in the ground.

I'm fine either way as long as I'm deep underground and/or nobody gets to consistently see me in my dead state lol

Well you can. But you should? Why is it your concern what other people do with themselves after death?

Also, dead bodies spread disease. Can't just leave them where they fall.

Because, from where I stand, morality is universal; not relative.

How do they spread disease? I'm not attempting you patronize you - it's a legitimate question.

I want to be cremated when I kick the bucket.
They can take whatever useful thing left in my body and give it to someone who needs it to extend that person's life, but when that's done please put me in an oven and spread the ashes around somewhere nice.

I don't want a memorial, some stone placed on top of me, nothing for the living to have to return to.
When I go, I want people to move forward until I am just a name they remember and a face from the pictures, not as a name engraved on a piece of stone they have to return to once in a while out of sense of obligation.

I'm going to be cremated and laid to rest at the Fort Hood Veterans Memorial Cemetery. No point in leaving a grave marker behind as my kids might not even be in Texas at that point.

Too bad, there's no way in hell I'm going to die. I'll live until my bones rot... of course reality won't allow that, but I defy logic.

I believe people should be able to choose.

Myself. I want to die in a way that doesn't affect any of my organs, and then have my organs donated after my death, and then cremated.

Became a Cadaver for students of science or medicine.

OR

in the case of Zombie apocalypse, burn me before I'm turned.
