Buried

I like the idea that my remains(bones) would signify that I lived on this planet, at least for awhile until my bones decompose.

Personally, I find ashes creepy. But then again, so is visiting the spot where your loved one is rotting.
So I have nothing against either one, really.. I'd prefer to be buried, I guess.
I find rotting more natural and less.. odd, I guess? Than being burned to a crisp.

Also, by being buried eventually your remains will help the earth so.. yeah. I'll still be helpful XP

I prefer cremation. I really wouldn't want to rot from inside a box buried 6 feet in the ground.

I'd definitely go for cremation after donating my organs. I know my family would give me flak for it if I told them that (My family is composed solely of jews, which therefore implies that within my family, cremation is associated with the mass burning of dead Jews in furnaces during the Holocaust), but I don't care. I'd prefer not to think of myself rotting somewhere, plus I don't believe in god anyway. It's better than wasting space in a graveyard too.

I say cremation but after I've donated all of my organs. Or i could say in my will to be taxidermied for a human science museum.

always thought that would be a good idea but the idea of being cut open scares me even after death

hmmm one could say... it'd scare you to death?

one can say that and well i wouldn't want to watch my own dissection from heaven.. if thats where i'm headed

I'd like to have my body buried to be honest. It gives the chance for my loved ones to come and visit my grave whenever, so I may still enjoy the sound of their voices even in death.

I suppose donating your organs would upset them too, because Jews believe the body needs to be buried whole and quickly after death.

I believe burried, because it's more traditional, and I rather not see my loved ones getting turned into ashes.

Well, I think of it this way....I had no choice as to how I was born, so why should I have a choice as to how I am buried? Unless I have money set aside to cover everything for my burial wishes, ultimately the decision is up to surviving next of kin.

i think being cremated is much practical and convenient especially nowadays that there are lot of people in the world... we should also consider other creatures as well..

What I think hardly matters.

How a society treat their dead have deep religious and cultural ties. A schmuck like me, telling people how I feel they should treat their dead will just annoy them.

cremated. there is not enough room in the world the bury all the dead. personally i want to go out like a viking bad ass, send me out on a small boat filled with wood and gasoline and light me a blaze while i sail off into the sun set i say!....of course if its a windy day and the current is bad it might just bring me right back to shore....so then roast s'mores and hot dogs over me i guess :p
