Well i don't have a sister myself, so it doesn't really bother me.

I don't have a problem with it.

The anime producers are so scared to bring taboo topics into their anime because of fear of backlash, but personally I love to see taboos in anime.

I've seen the assertion before that only people that don't have a sister like (or at least don't dislike incest) in fiction.

For the record, I do have a sister, and have no problem with incest in fiction.

One thing that always gives me peace is that I would think it was weird if I saw it in real life. It doesn't bother me too much in anime.

Likewise. There are a number of things I like in fiction that I wouldn't find so attractive in real life.

It can be likened to how some people like fiction set in older times, but if you shoved them in a time machine and made them experience the real thing, most would be begging for you to get them the hell out of there in short order (especially the further back in time you went).

If a couple I knew confessed to me in confidence they were actually brother in sister, I certainly wouldn't run to the police to report them, nor would I be likely to shun them. I would very likely, however, express some interest in what type of birth control they were using.

Personally, I don't have too much of a problem with brother/sisterly love in anime, as long as it's more of like a parody and not taken super seriously, kinda like with Oreimo. But if characters do start to get serious about their love for each other, then yes, I do find it disturbing and bothersome, as it's something I just can't really approve of in real life or any entertainment medium (such as anime/videogames/etc.).

Even though that's not the picture that's actually on his cell phone (from what I remember), I still found that particular scene amusing & creepy at the same time. There's more specific things that Kyousuke does in the 2nd season that make me go , but I won't mention them since I don't want to spoil it for u and those that haven't seen it yet.

Koi Kaze is an excellent, very realistic anime and manga about a brother and sister who fall for each other, knowing that it is wrong.

I'm okay with incest in anime and manga. It's not real after all.

It also has a realistic basis, in that the brother and sister lived separate their entire lives. (They didn't even recognize who each other were when they first met, even though it was for an extended period). To see why that is a factor, just Google "genetic sexual attraction".

For those that want a serious treatment of incestuous feelings, with the uncomfortable aspects but without the comedy or titillation, I second the recommendation of Koi Kaze.

I dont have a problem with it. However I dont go around searching for it. If its a loli, i will just drop the show and make sure to never pick it up again. For that reason, I normally would only watch if it was a older sister since most younger sisters tend to be a loli. I also have a little sister so that may be a reason i might not like it. However older sisters are usually fine by me.

I dont mind incest in anime but am disgusted by it in real life.

It's just like GTA for me, I love running bitches over but i would never do it in real life lol.

I have only seen incest in Mawaru Penguindrum. Guess i don't watch enough anime to care.

I love it because it's fiction. That's what fiction should be for, to let us watch things that shouldn't/couldn't happen in real life.

That's why I find slice of life boring, I can just go outside and see the same things happen

If you're talking about Incest.

In reality, creepy disturbing I personally don't support it.

In anime, It's a little more okay being that it's someone's imagination. Still find it creepy disturbing, but just a tad more 'ok', it depends on how far it goes like Yosuga no sora that last story with the sister was just...Wrong...

But things like KissXSis where they're not related by blood, I'm fine with. Technically "brothers and Sisters" but only by law.
If they're not blood related I'm cool with it.

As for brother and sister theme show. I'm cool with it as long as it's entertaining without being creepy about it.
