Anime.. WHY? Skipping Flags, That be a no-no.

I know how that feels. Two of my fav anime with new seasons/adaptations are skipping a lot, too.

Anyway, I'm beginning to like the manga after reading the first volume. Keima seems cool and Elsie is pretty cute.

Specially Yui's arc, really like that one.

And about Flag 235, i'm really curious about how this story is going to end. I have the impression that something big is near.

So i'm fairly new to the manga world, as in maybe only 2 series on my belt and not even finished with those yet. Where I am it seems hard to get any manga from a store.

I've always wanted to read this series manga though, everyone says that the manga is a lot better than the anime and I find the anime to be practically a masterpiece.

So my question is can anyone point me to where I can find an English version of this manga if there is one? I prefer having the actual book in my hand if its possible but I can see how it can not be possible if it doesn't exist.

If there is no English translated book is there any other way for me to read it without knowing another language? Or is this one of those cases that if I don't read/speak Japanese, and don't order and ship from Japan, i'm more or less S.O.L.?

you can find it on sites like [site that shall not be named] etc. or if you have a Iphone/pad/pod etc you can get a app called [something tht the mod deleted] which is good for searching all the popular sites at once for manga.

The world god only knows is probably one of my favorite manga that i have read/reading, the thing I liked about the Anime was that it followed the manga pretty damn well, until now.... however I see why they did it I suppose weather it was a good idea or not, to be honest i think the second season wasn't as popular as the first mainly because it was the same thing so they decided to skip the conquests which could be good or bad, bad for those who want to see those arcs, but good for the people more interested in the serious story.
I personally hope they release the other arcs as OVA's or something since they aren't putting them in this season but who knows.

Oooh! A TWGOK discussion forum!

I watched all of season one and two and really enjoyed it. Saw that they skipped stuff in season three, and immediately went to read the manga. However I couldn't stop and read all of it...... in two days.

I would highly recommend reading the manga as it is really amazing, and matches the anime quite well, but for the anime missing some details and skipping arcs. (kinda mad about that...)

Lots of manga discussion!

So, first off, in the anime, why does Lune (and not Fiore) stab Kanon?! That skips some pretty funny scenes later, while also makes it strange that vintages main person would simply kill the goddesses rather than capture them as they later do. Also, I thought "Vintage's" (really the older group that's using vintage) plan in the end anyway was to capture the goddesses and use them for power.

Next, as everyone is saying, skipping those arcs in the anime confuses some things, and as others pointed out, Nikaido and Akari's role. It's shown in the manga that Nikaido is a really strong devil with special capturing devices, while in the anime, she seems very suspicious, and almost on the wrong side.

Now for my theory about Nikaido:

Opinion Alert

I think Nikaido might be the Dokurou that Keima meets in the past. Judging by how old she looks during that arc, add ten years and she'd probably be in her 20s, about Nikaido's age. But then again, why would Keima forget about Dokurou... And also, Nikaido still looks like Nikaido in the picture of the old basketball team with Nagase sensei. So that doesn't fit as well...

Opinion Alert 2

Thinking about it more, on that same note, Akari could be Dokurou who Keima meets ten years ago. Considering her dialogue saying she "desires a perfect human." this could be hints that she is the one looking for the right human to send back to the past for the history-reformatting. She also kinda looks the same as Dokurou who, being a devil, wouldn't age (or would take many years to look it).

It will be interesting to see how the animators change it up yet still have it match. I look forward to the episodes (and chapters) to come!

Chapter 238

I don't think Keima is serious at the end there. Poor Tenri though:

Idk about whether he has a plan or not but Keima definitely must have something up in his mind about this.

Yeah, chapter 239 was a kick in the teeth. I don't know how the Japanese cope, being drip-fed manga like this.

So someone's going to have to drag Keima out of his slump

How have people seen chapter 239 if it comes out on the 21st and it's only the 18th?

I loved every bit of season 1 & 2.
Anyways, i also wanted to know if the manga was worth reading/purchasing.
I too think the anime was masterfully made cx so i don't know if it will be as good/the same without hearing the voices/music or seeing everything animated.
That was always my biggest put off from mangas. Like sword art online: i loved it and want to read the mangas but i don't know if i will thoroughly enjoy it, ya know ? i "think" i prefer animes much more just b/c its nicer to watch it than read it, imo.
but i haven't had much experiences with mangas. i've only read a few comics.
