As I've never seen nor had before not so long ago a real girl friendship, Moko and Kyoko really touched me deeply °°
It's not a friendship on one moment like life and death, it's the most difficult friendship: to respect and like each other every boring day. Even with time, staying friends is difficult when time just flow by itself. |

LMAO!!! I don't see their relationship as friendship. Friendship is based on trust, and love and those 2 are always fighting. The two girls from NANA have what I believe is the BEST friendship. |

The two girls from NANA have what I believe is the BEST friendship. Their relationship gets pretty deep, it is a friendship in a sense of the word. In Neon Genesis (original series) they tried to reach out to each other to escape their own depressions and personal strafes. They tried to understand one other but it ultimately just caused both of them more and more pain the harder they tried. Both sunk deeper into their depressions to the point where Asuka practically gave up on life and Shinji didn't see any value in his own existence. Now, I wouldn't call this friendship in the sense that they got along well but that they each tried to trust the other and apprehend their feelings. They didn't necessarily succeed, but they did obtain some form of bonding friendship despite how brief it was. In Rebuild it's not as romantically depressing and they get along a lot easier, I think. Though that's only based on 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance because so far that's the movie Asuka is officially introduced in the new films. |

There are several types of friendships and the way you explained it makes sense. I saw EVA like 12 years ago so I don't really remember the details, only that they were fighting a lot. But if that's how it is, I would have to agree with you....somehow I feel like watching EVA again! |

The fourth movie will probably come out sometime in 2013. |
