If I started this myself, It would've been up and running ... C'mon it's not that hard to develop an app.

Also, now you don't have an excuse, Vita TV is out in Japan and soon in the rest of the world, so getting it to the Vita TV (and Vita) is inescapable.

Depending on the platform, it is. However, having written several Vita apps myself for my own use, it really is not that hard.

At this point I am seriously doubting we will ever see it on the Vita. One can hope, though.

For the record, I could be sitting in bed right now watching Kill La Kill or something...if I had Crunchyroll on my PS Vita. Sadly, I do not, so please make it happen soon?

Yeah I agree, it may be complicated to develop the app and tune it up, but it doesn't take an eternity though ... this topic is already 5 months old.

We don't know where it is in the process ... for instance, it could be with Sony that hasn't approved it to go up. Its never "just" about writing the app. We also don't know what Crunchyroll's total development budget is and how many Sony app/channel programmers they can afford to hire.

Definitely ~ the Vita TV might be in the frame for me if there was a Crunchyroll app ... without a Crunchyroll app, its either a new Roku or an Ouya (which is a lot more open to playing old Commodore 64 games via emulator).

if my memory is correct, the ouya is pretty much a lost cause. good idea, terrible execution. kinda sad too, considering there were alot of kickstarter backers who were thoroughly disappointed in the end result.

anyway, yes... a status update would certainly be nice. i paid for the crunchyroll service because i thought i'd get it on my vita as well as my ps3 and that was over a year ago. it shouldn't take this long to develop a simple video app. there's full AAA video games that are further along in that time frame with projected release dates. if they can do that, why can't crunchyroll at least give an approximate time frame for their app? as someone said up above... "i could be sitting in bed watching kil la kill on my vita, but i can't."

Same here, I'm giving up on a Vita App ever coming out and the PS3 app drives me crazy every time I want to watch more than 3 episodes at a time. I really needs an update.

I still have hope for CR with my Sony devises but if time pases and still not even a hint of update happens I might as well just end my subscription and go back to free loading on my PC

status updates are your friend. Even if it takes a lot longer than we'd like, Crunchyroll would keep us happier just by lettting us know where they are on the process. The complaints come not from lack of progress, but lack of communication.

I hope this happens, I just got myself a Vita. I would love to be able to watch anime on it.

An update would be great. I just want to know if they are still working on it or gave up on it.

I wish I could find it again to link to it, but there was a message stating they were still working on it, although on and off (the PS4 app development took precedence more recently).

We should make them believe in updates

It's sad, I can't use my bootiful Vita screen, nor my Blackberry z10 to watch anime.

Can't you use the z10 as a web page to watch? On my Blackberry Playbook the Flash support is excellent and worked great in the web browser. Sadly my Vita still doesn't work for Crunchyroll as it has no Flash support :(
