What??? They haven't finished solving anything yet. Save their mother... Expose Ebisugawa as the liar and murder accomplice he is. Lots left to do! Can't end it there! I know, I expect they WILL save their mother and give Ebisugawa what's coming to him but I do want to see it. Just my opinion of course.

I try not to be so easily manipulated, but at this point for me the show kind of hinges on whether or not the Ebisugawa get what's coming to them or not.

I would like to see Ebisugawa not only exposed, but to wind up in the hot pot himself. Then to have the Friday Fellows complain about the taste of it this time, and vow to never eat Tanuki hot pot again. Probably won't happen, though.

Well, I already have the ending in my head since they set it up in the end of ep 12. Of cource I don't mind seeing it. I love the show, and wouldn't mind them continuing it. Even if the main story is now coming to an end. ^^ Next episode I think will just wrap everything up nicely. No big reveals I think.

Now that would be a good ending, I approve!

I have not read it but since I hear it is based upon just one novel, I don't know that there would be any more material left to adapt. I suppose they could always go anime only and I have enjoyed PA Works' original series. But I don't expect that this will happen.

Well, I've been enjoying it enormously. The first part of ep 12 was some much needed levity given the seriousness of the situation.

I'm looking forward to how it gets resolved next episode.

ep 13 conclusion

pretty good end to it all

kind of wanted them to explain more about Benten and how she turned out the way she did

and when Kaisei said her dad went to a hot spring and will probably never return, was that euphemism for he got the hot pot end?

dang Kaisei is such a tease

8 out of 10 overall

Great episode, great series. The character dialogues and interactions makes this show extremely entertaining. Oh and the shapeshifting parts too along with Benten!

Almost every episode's introduction of dialogues has this sense of metaphor or feeling to it. 8/10. Great show.

Enjoyed the show but had hoped for some romance at the end. Some hints but that was all. Still good. 8/10

Lol at the great confrontation of human, tanuki, and tengu. The series is serious but at the same time like a gag show; no uproar when the professor blows everything away. Benten is still mysterious as ever. Good series though. 8/10.

decent ending, but was hoping for a little more, especially in regards to Benten. even after 13 episodes, she and the reasoning behind everything she did is still a complete mystery.

I loved this show and it remains my favorite from this season. The writing was excellent, and struck a nice balance between humor and drama. The clever word play throughout the show was also well done. Hot Spring, lmao. Well, you reap what you sow.
9/10

Benten remains a mystery, but you have to admit, that's half of her appeal.

Pretty good end and still has a lot of potential for interesting OVA.

9/10 for me. . Wrtting is really well done, very well balanced , interesting characters, awesome animation and design , I got really emotional with this title. ...

But In the end , Yajiro is still a frog lol....I was hoping he trasforms back , I love that one scene , almost made me cry.

This one is worth collecting in my book . So looking forward for its sale of the complete collection.

You know I really want to join that snow fight lol
And the next time I visit Kyoto, I will head over those places

弁天 (Benten) means the goddess of art and wisdom...

8/10 for me, quite enjoyable but not a buy.

Ahhhh that was a pleasure to watch. I am truly going to miss this show. Can't believe that I almost didn't pick it up to start the season. I think with that ending it'll probably end up being my favorite from the season (although I still have yet to watch Railgun today).

I just love so many things about this show. If it gets a US release, I'd seriously consider buying it. I think it has a really great appeal as a "this is what anime can really be" show. No moe, no fanservice; just solid writing, beautiful animation and lots of fun.

I got lots of warm fuzzies seeing the family all together & seeing Benten wind up on their side after all.
