Pretty simple concept. remember the selected quality of an episode when skipping to the next episode. When I've selected 480p because my connection can't support 720p it makes no sense that it should jump back up to 720p when the next episode plays.

I believe you're trying to figure out why you select 480p on one video, and it defaults to 720 on the next?

do you have 480p selected as your default under settings> video preferences?

Have you selected 480p as your "Default Video Quality" on this page?

It sounds as if you have 720p set there (since it apparently currently defaults to 1080p, whereas previously 480p was the default). If so, you're asking CR to make that feature not work, and instead keep the resolution of the previous video until you change it to something else.

I'm not asking for a feature not to work, I'm asking for it to work differently for chained videos. When a video is started automatically by the previous one ending, wouldn't it make more sense to continue the next in the playlist at the quality currently selected rather than defaulting? The default quality is cumbersome to change for single sessions, maybe make a quick access to it on the video playback page in the form of the dropdown selection for quality only?

ah, you're asking about the auto-play on a playlist?

Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't make that very clear in my initial post.
