For like everyday commutes I would drive the automatic, but for the weekends or when ever I hang with my friends I would for sure drive a manual, cause it would be a lot funner. |

It actually makes you a much bigger douche than owning an automatic. Means you cant drive a manual but you think you are cool you can change gears with the paddles or shift lever.

I prefer auto because I dont want to think that much when I drive, esp when I'm tired. But Manual is fun...I begged my guy friends to teach me how to drive manual ><

to be honest, depends on the application. for drag racing, auto (until you get to professional stuff), for autocross and road racing, manual, for daily driving, depends on the car.

i used to love manual...but as i got older and going to school and job back and forth, i find auto better for me, but as of right now im stuck with manual.

Automatic is only "easier" if you have "difficulty" with manual, if you are experienced with both, it doesnt make a difference.

The only drawback of manual is when its cold if you keep your car outside the gears shift TERRIBLE when car is cold. But there have been a couple of occasions where if I was driving an automatic, I'd be dead right now, I cannot go back to auto because its just more dangerous.
The only way manual is worse than auto is if you always half to look at the stick when shifting which is very dangerous.
