RyoAkamatsu wrote: manual Sorry u auto fans but here's the facts Auto; easy, But when u danger ur ...dead. (example; someone brake checks u and i mean like the brake check of ur life haha) but manual theres a skill ( yes ppl there are skills in manual cars) its called down shifting ur cluch catchs the motor and slows it down and at the same time u can use ur brakes, so if u think about it.... Auto; brakes+e-brake Vs Man; Cluch+Brakes+E-brake... so its 2 vs 3 there ur go Manual FTW~!!!!! or you can just do like a noob and throw that shit into reverse and pop the clutch... dumb ass kids |

I don't even know most of you even owned a car. Speaking of manual, some if you never even drove one and a lot of people replies are less than 15 years old. You people just think its seems to be sound cooler, faster, wait until you drive manual for several months. Gotta shift gears on every stop on the streets, and I don't think you people will race with it. Of course, probably go out of town to a different city once a week. That sounds really smart to get a manual.

Sometimes I forget I'm driving a manual because it's become second hand nature. |

That sounds really smart to get a manual. I been driving my manual with a liscense for a year now, It's been almost 3 years since I got learners permit and started practice driving in general. With the last 4 month period deitcated soley to my manual when I got it for passing the liscense test with as much polish as 4month can possibly give. I had driven my car over 40k in this year alone because I have gone and visited relative across the country + lots of local commuting and social things. So why is it I am not tired of manual at all. The only people I know that hate manual are the ones who never practiced stop and go on hills, too lazy to learn it, or are afraid. So much to learn with a manual but where is the fun in not bettering youself at something. Every day that I start up my car, I feel I will get a little bit better at driving it. Even though I have already become completely consistant at even higher level skills like rev match and double clutch, and using compression breaking in certain places. And FYI manual is way cooler. The difference is in whether you are talking about it, or if you are actually driving it. Fun = cool, manual = fun, which = cool. Do you think the cavemen thought the wheel was LAAAME when they got it? |

I found a good way to beat it though, by either rev match or double clutch before shoving it into 2nd. If you try that and ease the shifter in that may solve you're problem, it solved it for me when I remember to do it lol |
