Which do you prefer Automatic or Manual?
|
i prefer manual, for no reasons at all, just because its manual....it feels just like a auto nowadays, shifting aint a bother.

As for automatics in drag racing, it is indeed more consistent however, I much prefer the direct control of a manual transmission (even if it may be slower in some cases). |

Well... I still prefer 3 pedals so... I'd prefer an SMG with 3 pedals (obviously the clutch is for launching and heel-toe shifting). Other than that, 2 pedals feels wrong |

Wth! I'll go with either or. For all those saying auto are lazy and manuals are an inconvience should really look at yourselves in the mirror and say no to this argument and Just DRIVE! Really I really don't care whether i have to downshift or lazily press the brakes. I just want to be fast at the corners and come out alive!

Personally, I go for Manual just because its more fun to drive and since I want to use my Daily on the track it'd be easier to just get a manual.
Currently I live in a place with a lot of hills, so an auto makes it easier goin' up those suckers. Dunno how I'd do in a Manual. |

Dude, after you get used to holding a clutch in place, that should be no problem at all. I don't cower every time I encounter steep slopes anymore. Sure, maybe the first month of driving its OK, but not after getting used to driving And besides, its fun to scare traffic on an uphill traffic light |

Some idiot in a Lexus RX crossover SUV hit the rear of my Subaru wagon about a month ago at a stoplight. I felt a slight "thump" (and heard a somewhat loud "BANG") behind me. I wasn't rolling back. Thank goodness I don't care much for cosmetic damage. The damage was actually invisible. |
