I went to NIACC (North Iowa Area Community College) a few years back. I started going to video game testing, but decided after the first year that it sucked and I would try for Criminal Justice. Criminal Justice was fun but then I owed them about, oh $1,000 and they denied me the ability to continue classes. I still owe it, and I might try a different college after I pay off NIACC and maybe go to a State university of something, but I probably won't do it, I have a decent job as it is.

University of the District of Columbia. My first two semester have been hell, yet that was mostly due to the workload. I'm hoping that my third semester in the Fall will be much better. So far, I've been the biggest nerd I know. I haven't met anyone who shares the same interest as me, yet I'm sure they're out there.

I am going to Okanagan College, it's pretty small and in BC, Canada. The business program has 86%~ higher rating, and my program has 90%~ higher rating. I am taking Network/Telecom Engineering, so if you're into computers and how they 'talk' and how to manage servers etc, it's a really good program. I learned more in 1 year than I have learned over the entire course of my High School life. But if you enjoy it, it's not work.

Since the college is somewhat small, there isn't a whole lot of people (comparatively) however I found they all have great personalities in my course, and 2 other people like anime, but in the Computer Science program, it seems there are a lot more 'nerds' who like gaming and anime etc.

You seem extremely cynical.

I think I like you.

I'm thinking of going to Saint Louis University, but I'm not totally sure yet. It's not set in stone or anything.

And because it's such a small school, I run into the same people all the time!

UT Dallas is one of the public schools I've been considering! What do you like most about it?

I love how small the campus is, compared to other schools. It's very easy to get around campus and I think my farthest walk was from my dorm to the library/dining hall area being about 15 minutes. The dorms are also comfortable and recently built. They don't even show on Google Streetview. You have two roommates, but each with your own rooms. There are also on-campus apartments you can get into after your first year. Freshmen can also apply to the Living Learning Communities, which are dorm halls with same major students. I was in the Computer Science one and it was perfect. We all had at least one class in common and knew each other pretty well. I'm not a social person at all, but it was nice to have a group to go to dinner with or to play video games with. The LLC also gave us special activities like a Pokemon TCG tournament, Brawl tournament, Easter Egg night hunt, and tours of Texas Instruments and Gearbox. We also have an undefeated football team. No wins, no losses.

The university isn't perfect, though. Because it's a commuter school, weekends make the campus feel like a ghost town. There isn't a lot of social activities around either and no parties, so joining clubs is extremely important if you want to meet people. (Finding clubs can be difficult, though.) Foreigners are also a bit annoying. Sometimes it's difficult to understand their accents, and a lot of them work in the dining hall.

Sorry if it's hard to read what I wrote. I just woke up from a nap. xD Feel free to message me any questions! I might have said more than I should have, though.
