Next month, I will be starting my second year at Seminole State College of Florida. I'm aiming for my Associate Degree in Forensic Science.

I go to the University of Oklahoma. It's pretty nice and I think even if I got the chance to go somewhere like Harvard I would stay here. xD That's how much I love it.

We have an anime club. I went once, but it was a little awkward since I didn't know anyone and I'm not good at just going up and speaking to people. lol I would like to go again though.

I go to a pretty famous private university on the West Coast which I won't name for privacy protection (you're welcome to guess) We have an anime club on campus but I never go. Oddly enough, I've met quite a few anime fans (no die-hard otakus but casual watchers) in other student clubs that I'm involved in. It's pretty great because everyone has different tastes so I always get lots of interesting recommendations.

I go to the best university in our country, the University of Auckland. I did my BA here and now I'm doing my Graduate Diploma in Education (aka, becoming a teacher).

I'm going to University of Utah... it's pretty big and it's my 2nd college first one was Westminster Collage (Same state and down the street from where i am now) i likes Westminster but it was ubber expensive the U of U isn't so much but it's ubber big. I like it here though it's pretty nice and we have been rated #1 in video game design this last year (and that was my major, now i'm in film which we rank i think #2 idk)

I would suggest trying to figure out what you want out of life first if you can't go some where local and try a few classes out there then if you find something that sounds like fun find a college or university that specializes in that field and go for it.

What if someone here or to come on here is a psycho, pedophile, etc. And your telling him/her where you go collage?
It may seem I'm a bit paranoid but its a possibility.

I go to CalState Long Beach. I love the school and am nearly finished there. There is an anime club, though I am not a part of it. I have seem a few people with anime clothing on though, like a FMA tshirt and one with Kyubey on it too. Its got a ton of students here (around 35,000) but classes are still a nice size. Hehe also if anyone else goes there I have a room for rent that I need filled

I attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent and i have fallen in love with it!!! It really has become my second home and being back home for the summer is kinda hard because I have just loved my first year of college. This upcoming semester will be the start of my second year and I just can't wait to go back and see all the new friends I made. I'm an environmental studies major with a minor in art and I'm working towards working with animals somehow, most likely going into wildlife conservation and management. I am considering going into an anime or manga based career instead, but its pretty unrealistic so I'm most likely sticking with animals, but it's a thought :)

Sadly, I have only met two or three friends who like anime, but unlike me, they only watch or read it on occasion and it really isn't a strong interest to them. I'm actually thinking about starting an anime club next year at some point, but with already being in the sorority on campus, being the vice president of the art club, being the secretary of the medieval club and with the academics and very hard classes I have to take this year, I might be too busy lol ^^" I wish there were more anime fans at my school, but because my school is extremely small and in a small town in the middle of nowhere on the Canadian border at the tip top of Maine.......anime fans are obviously hard to find. Thankfully some of my friends are at least gamers so it all works out in the end

Good luck!!!!!! You'll have a great time!!!!! :D

I am currently a student at grossmont college in San Diego and there are a lot of japanese foreign exchange students that go there.
the funny thing is that NONE of them really like anime that much which kinda dissapointed me. but I found a bunch of friends that love anime as much as me. but honestly I got so much more anime to watch its crazy lol

I'm currently going to The University of Maine at Fort Kent, which is a VERY small school and town for that matter. It's located literally on the Canadian border and I can see Canada from my dorm window lol. I would actually recommend a small university because it's easier to find your way around campus and everything is in walking distance, plus, it's just has this family and community feel to it that bigger universities don't have. I haven't met many people who share all my interests except a select few, but the diversity at Fort Kent is very high. It truly is an international school lol. I do admit, though, that it does have less majors and minors than at a bigger school, but for those majors that were left out, they are just concentrations under other related majors, so that isn't a big deal. It really is an underrated college and I just love it so much up there in Maine!!!! So beautiful

University of California Santa Cruz, soon to be second year.
Walking around campus, I've seen many people wearing anime shirts (don't remember which ones right of the top of my head). I got into a a random conversation with some people at a campus bus stop about Attack on Titan. So there's a significant amount of anime/manga fans. There are also many comic book fans if you're also into that. But, like someone mentioned earlier, you may have to bring it up in conversation.

The school itself is pretty good. I like so far. I'm going as a physics major so the classes are a bit challenging. Not to say that only sciences are challenging, all the classes have their challenging points. The professors are pretty good. Though you have to seek some of them out yourself if you want help since some have over a hundred students per class and they don't have the time to check in with every single student. Then there are the small 15 to 25 student classes.

A big downside is that there are a lot of marijuana smokers. There's a big "pot-head" culture in Santa Cruz. I mean its there and if you go looking for it you will find it but I, being a non-smoker, managed to get through.
