we do seem to be a little low on the action this season but there are some shows with promise I think

Fantasia Doll
Rozen Maiden
Il sole penetra le illusioni
World only God Knows
Gatchaman Crowds

also if you haven't seen it watch Kaiji

It's kinda hard to say what I'm disappointed in yet, as I had a notion of what I was going to watch. I like school comedies and slice of life so most of the season is right up my alley. If I were disappointed even in the slightest it might be dog and scissors. I liked the first episode, but the second ep left me hanging a little, maybe I wasn't paying attention, so I'll give ep2 another look. I think Working!! took off slowly when it first aired so I still have high hopes for servant x service; episode 2 was good in my opinion. I liked the Watamote manga and watched the first episode and they match up pretty good, but so close that there isn't a feeling of something new about Watamote in the anime. I'll keep watching it though.

It's just too early for me to be disappointed in anything (yet). I have watched SAO, AOT, Gargantia and Valvrave and like them all. Slice of Life comedies are my favorite, but do enjoy action.

For action you still have a bunch of continuing action titles in Attack on Titan, Majestic Prince for mecha both which I watch; and, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter and Saint Seiya Omega if you're into those (I'm not), but they are action shows. And there's Gifuu Doudou and Kaiji if you're into gar, which I am NOT. But I have plenty to watch!

I am currently watching 25 shows, will likely drop 1-2 at least and there are 6 more that still haven't started legally. For me this is about on par, I usually start a season with 30 shows and end up with around 20.

I wish Love Lab, Symphogear, Tamayura - More Aggressive and some others were picked up legally. Can't believe some don't get picked up! Hate resorting to downloads of a dubious nature... but some of these sound so good I may need to resort to them for the first time in a long while.

Not too much new action but there is some though at least two are fighting dolls which I enjoy but probably not everyone does.

Most of this season has many new animes which I like, so i'm not disappointed. But really does depend on what kind of anime you like. This is all they have and so that all you're gonna get. I guess there isn't much action but you could always try and watch the comedy ones or jus look at some of the newest season animes, you never kno you might jus find it interesting and continue watching it lol (That's what I do anyways but if u dont like jus dont watch is all I can say)

Am i the only one who's actually somewhat satisfied with the new line up?

Hakkenden: Eight dogs of the east, season 2
Free! Started up
Makai Ouji: devils and realist sarted up
Blood lad started up
Silver spoon started up
Love lab started up (+1 for the gif xD)
Gintama the second movie came out ( yayy :D)

Though some good ones ended.... Which i find a shame..
But we do have different tastes ^^"

The problem isn't the lineup, but what you're looking for. It's a good season, but everyone has different tastes, so I understand your disappointment. Personally, I'm happy with TWGOK and Watamote, but I could do with another show like Attack on Titan

All three shows mentioned are the only ones I am following. That means it is a really great season for airing anime. I usually only follow 1, maybe 2 max.

Well, there may not be too much action, but there is a ton of great anime this season. I personally am most looking forward to one of the few that has yet to premier: Kimi no Iru Machi (A Town Where You Live).

Having read that it is starting at the Tokyo Arc, approximately 80 chapters into the manga, I prepared a couple of preview posts on the blog I write for (Nabe!!) to get people that haven't read the manga up to speed on the story. My main reason for this is that I think people will have trouble understanding the main characters motivations and think it is a kind of "outlandish" story if they don't know the background. They also put out a drama CD to get people up to speed, but I have yet to see a fan-translation of that...

Alternately, you could watch the two part OVA series that came out last year, which covers most of the story, in a very haphazard fashion, with horrible character designs and an obviously tiny budget. I don't know how well people will understand that if they haven't read the manga, really... Of course, you could also read the first 79 chapters of the manga and then you will be right there at the start of the anime! :)

My preview posts are extremely spoiler laden, but only about events that happen in the first 79 chapters of the manga. It is basically a plot summary for those chapters, with a little bit of analysis and a whole lot of gushing over how much I love the manga... It has become my favorite Shounen Romance Manga, which is saying a lot for me, since romantic comedy is my favorite genre... Yes, BTW, it surpassed Toradora! as my favorite Shounen Romance manga! Those who are familiar with me know how much I love Toradora! The light novels are still way up there on my list of favorites, and I'm not sure that Kimi Machi has replaced the Toradora! story in my heart as the top school romance, but if the anime is even half as good as the manga, it just might!

I can't believe that it hasn't been picked up for simulcast yet! It is on TV Tokyo, so I really expected CR to get it... I guess there is still time...

I know what you mean... I want to watch Symphogear and Love Lab, but its really hard to bring myself to download anything illegally. I guess its my upbringing. But I've got a feeling its gonna happen soon...
