On google tv app the new season episodes 0 and one playback with a black screen with audio. The last episode of the first season and other episodes that i have tried work fine (Silver Spoon, Servant x Service were played).

I will have try again as it has been a couple of days. I will mention that on 2 consecutive days the issue was present but at least on the second day, android would play but gtv would be black screen with proper audio...

Hello Bjaker. It is confirmed. On googleTV App when playing the new recorder episodes at least the zero episode I tried from my queue I get a black screen with the soundtrack playing properly. On Android App I get full playback. I am however able to play multiple other episodes of other series without issue on googletv app.

So this is happening on shows that have just been released?

I tried this yesterday. Episode 0 1 and 2 are available now. so a couple of weeks have past. Not sure about the disparity between GTV not working and Android Tablet working.

On GTV I have had no issue with other new series episodes, just this one. Usually if it is an issue that I have tried to view it before it is ready for my platform I get an actual error message. This starts playing but black screen with proper audio.

A couple of things. first google play store does not list anything but a beta version of the app. Somewhere along the lines during the automated updates my crunchyroll got updated to a version the store claims is not supported by my device (Logitech Revue). I know when it was initially installed it was a gtv version, so something funky has happened.

Next, i uninstalled and installed the beta version dated nov of 2012 with no change in behavior. I can watch everything else but this series (black screen while audio track plays).


This is annoying and is affecting the nature of my experience.

Sorry to be a pest but... Any luck. I also noticed that Sparrow Hotel is affected. But nothing else (at least from the items in my queue).

It seems odd that I can play all other content on the Logitech Revue correctly but those 2 series I cannot.

What did you discover when you looked into it 26 days ago????
