I know it's a little late but while I was watching Cowboy Bebop on DVD I began to grieve. Between that, Gundam Wing, Haruhi, and Lucky Star I am heartbroken. What Bandai title are you missing the most and hope that will get picked up?

I thought I read somewhere where Funimation and someone else was in talks with Bandai to acquire the rights to release some of their titles. If they do it's Gundam Wing. GW , Yu Yu Hakusho, and Outlaw Star are the reasons why I first started watching anime, and I already own Yu Yu Hakusho and Outlaw Star.

I own Outlaw Star and I watch it all the time. I wish it continued after the last episode :(
I read that they were in talks about grabbing the licenses but that was a month ago and I haven't heard any new updates. I'm really hoping it does happen because those would be day one purchases for me.

Keep in mind that Lucky Star is still here, as it was licensed to CR by Kadokawa, not Bandai.

Licensing typically isn't discussed much until it actually happens, so that isn't unusual.

Sunrise is one of the owners of Daisuki.net, so there is a very good chance many of their series will eventually return there. The problem is that with Daisuki's currently sedate pace of adding new material, that could be a rather long time.

Thanks for the info, I didn't realize Lucky Star was on here. Though I did really enjoy the dub so I am looking forward to watching that again at some point.

That disappointing to hear though when I found this article, http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-05-25/funimation-sentai-in-talks-over-former-bandai-entertainment-titles , it gave me a little more hope.

I read somewhere where their was going to be a direct sequel, but OS wasn't very successful when it released and the director got busy with something else so it never happened.

That's really disappointing because it had so much potential. But who knows, I've seen stranger revives.

I don't necessarily miss any titles; I just wish I could view those I haven't seen yet, which include Crest of the Stars and its sequels, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (since I only saw the first season here on CR), and Wolf's Rain.

Wolf's Rain is still available on Hulu along with a few other Bandai titles, and it doesn't expire I don't think until some time next year. True Tears was also added recently (I think within the last 2 or so weeks), so there's hope there for possibly more titles. In this case though, I already have True Tears on DVD.

I never finished Wolfs Rain but I heard it was really good. If you get the opportunity you should check out Crest of the Stars. That was a solid anime with a lot of emotion wrapped into it.

Just read where Funimation will be releasing the .Hack franchise. Outside of the PS2 games I never got into this series, but if they release them like they did the Tenchi series I'll try them out.

I saw that as well the other day. I never got into them either but I'm glad to see they are making a push on their licenses.
