So I have the smart Vizio TV, and I want to access my account on Crunchyroll on this TV. I cant find the app for crunchyroll on this Vizio. What I can only find is the Web Videos apps and then click into their Channels and finally find Crunchyroll, but nowhere in there can I log into my account and watch all my videos. Is there a different area I should be looking, is it possible to log in into my account? THANX!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately we do not have an official app for the Vizio TV yet.

I will pass your suggestion along to our development team.

Are you guys still developing an App for the Vizio tv?! PLEASE! I just bought one =[ and all I can find is the webcast. Sucks for premium users....

Per the reply from starry further up this thread, it does not appear that CR was ever developing an app for Vizio.

The app that is on the Vizio is a multi-service app from Flingo (on my WD TV, I believe it is called "Launchpad"), and does not support log-in.

I just 'upgraded' from a Panasonic Viera to a Vizio Razor and come to find out the application Crunchyroll totes here (http://www.crunchyroll.com/devices) is not the same app that allows a premium user to access his/her queue, avoid advertisements, access higher quality streams, and gain rapid access to the Crunchyroll service. This is pretty disparaging and seems like a blatant example of false advertising on behalf of Crunchyroll. The smart TV app is the only reason I became a premium member.

Are you developing an app for the Vizio to provide the same functionality the Viera application is capable of doing?
If so, how long till it's available?
How about you take down the claim that you have an app for the Vizio? It's pretty pathetic in relation to the Viera app and I wouldn't put my seal of approval on it if I were you.

Howdy!

The list of devices on our website, are ways that you can access content with & without a paid membership. (depending on the device.)

I apologize if you feel misled.

I'll pass your feedback to Development.

Hi, Crunchyroll, Im havimg some issues woth my vizio tv. And it looks like Im not the only one. On the Web Videos app I was relieved to find that crunchyroll was on the channel lineup but was quickly disappointed when none of the videos worked. An ad about coffee cream comes up before each video bit nothing happens after it plays. This has happened with every series I tried. I also noticed that the logo hasn't changed from the one CR used a couole of years ago. Should I assume that the Via platform no longer has any development going for it? I checked the flingo forums as well but can't seem to find any answers. Here's hoping you guys do.

(Edit)
It would appear that I am in the same situation as mutant_spider. Please I hope you hear us out.

Thanks for the response, Baker. Can you tell us if there has been any interest by the development team to pursue app development for the Vizio? I'd like to utilize my premium benefits instead of being forced to watch ads that I paid to circumvent.

alfrancism pointed out the straw that broke the camel's back. There is a coffee creamer add that freezes the entire television. I know application development might take a while, but is removing that specific advertisement an option in the meantime? Not sure if this is something controlled by Crunchyroll or the VIA application service provider.

Me, too. Just bought a Vizio 28" E280i-B1 and Vizio 32" E320-B2 (both Smart TVs). Please suggest to development that we need access. Vizio is the cheapest Smart TV I've seen. I'll bet there are a lot of people who need access to Crunchyroll.

That would be lovely if we could login to Crunchy Roll on the Visio smart TVs. I think right now, I can access some CR content via the Internet Videos app, but this comes with commercials and doesn't keep my CR queue & favorites.

I know this thread started a year ago, however since people are still posting I figured I would as well.
I just recently got a Vizio smart TV as well and I was extremely disappointed that there isn't a Crunchyroll app available. I do still have my PS3, where I can access Crunchyroll, however it's a bit of a hassle to turn it on, switch my tv over to where I have my PS3 hooked up, log onto my name and the internet JUST to watch Crunchyroll. Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc all have apps for the Vizio TV so it would be nice if I didn't have to jump through hoops just to log into something I pay for. I've been debating about canceling my account just because of it. No point in paying for something I prefer not to use since there isn't an app available on the device I use the most.
It's been over a year since someone first mentioned it and there have been (numerous) very similar complaints, I would think the people who run this site would have realized the merits of getting an app out for the Vizio tv's. Hopefully it happens soon, I would rather not cancel my account, as there are many shows I'd like to watch, but, again, there really isn't any point in paying for something that I don't use since there isn't an app for it.
