Since they just recently "sunsetted" all the other smart tv apps they did have at one time: /forumtopic-807937/#50440695 then it's pretty much a given that they aren't going to create any new ones... The best you can do is to plug one of the /devices that have CR available into an input on the TV.

Well since Vizio UHDTV's Upscales HD content to UHD theres no reason to complain get a Laptop with a 4th gen I-series processor by intel and just use WiDi. With WiDi you can wirelessly use your computer all you need is intel's drivers which auto downloads and an adapter and unlike CHROME CAST YOU CAN USE IT WITH ANYTHING ON WINDOWS!!!! not just videos not just google chrome blah blah blahh... so you can go from watching fairytail or your fav anime to playing elsword with out bs. And intel WiDi adapter is... $59 Why? ok get chrome cast if you want to be limited to google chrome only/ android(app support only meaning not everything)/iOS(app support only meaning not everything) <WiDi supports this plus using your windows desktop as if you had windows physically plugged in via VGA/DVI/HDMI....

WiDi is beefed up Miracast which is supported by a huge variety of devices but isn't just for streaming media...

I find it sad that while I much prefer Crunchyroll that Hulu is covering more and more anime and supporting more and more devices. I know they have a much much bigger budget, but you can't continue to cut and cut then hope to compete.

I just purchased a vizio tv and I'm a premium member why in the world is crunchyroll not supporting such popular devices? I just don't get it.

While Smart TVs may be in wide use, that doesn't mean the apps on those devices were widely used. Most likely, the majority of people are using alternate devices, such as Rokus or gaming consoles.

We need crunchyroll on vizio televisions!!! I just FINALLY managed to get my wife into anime after trying so hard for so many years and the ONLY reason we bought the vizio smart tv is so she could watch anime when she gets home from work and on her days off! I've had crunchyroll since 2012, come on people, the demand for a crunchyroll app on vizio tv's is very apparent. If not on other tv's at least on these ones

Another VIZIO app request here.

My wife is pushing hard to remove PC from the living room and go with TV only apps.

A solid Vizio app would cover everything we need to do that :-p

Adding my request to hope this can be added. Currently have to use the WiiU in order to watch crunchyroll on the tv. Would love to see an app on the vizio tv.

When they pulled most of the Smart TV apps a while back, low usage numbers were cited. The perception that there is not a large market waiting for such apps is likely why they have not been developed.
