How many people can use my account at the same time, and can we be in different places? I have 2 little sister who would like to use my account because we live together, but I am also a university student so I have to commute to school, work, home, and sometimes to my grandmother's house. My sisters should only be on from 3:30pm-12:am when school starts, while I will be on whenever is convenient for me. I was just wondering if it was against the Terms of Service if we were in different locations and logged on at the same time (like my sister at home or my parents shop, and I am at my school lounge or in Hayward at my grandmother's house). Or can we only use the account while at home?

I seen accounts with 30 people 'hack' it. BTW, this is a very common term on cr which is used for when you allow a person access to your said account. But, either way....I do not think there is a limit, as long as you do not have the same IP or you are the same person on two different accounts. You are essentially all clear

The rules said only 2 people are allowed to use the same account.

Just PM one of the Customer Support officers if you want 3 people on the same account, explain to them you have two little sisters, maybe they'll count them as one person. Idk how it works.

Sharing between family members in the same household is alright.
If we believe that you are abusing your account we could terminate service though.

I know this is pretty late almost being a year later and stuff, but where would you be able to report someone for having around 8-10 people on one account?

The /contact form (linked at the bottom of every page), is usually a good way to contact customer support. I'd imagine you'd have to pretty solid proof, and I'd expect CR has some kind of diagnostics to detect this.

If they all live in the same household, it shouldn't be a problem.

Be aware though, there is only one queue and one history being kept, and that any/all of them could post to the forums or comments sections under your user id, and even find any of your posts to the forums, so don't post something embarrassing, and if any of them do not behave, your id could get banned from posting... As they say in anime: "You need to take responsibility".

I'm not sure if this is fully implemented yet, but there's (going to be) a limit on how many devices you can use at a time. I don't know the number, though.

Aside from it supposed to be only within the same household, (whether they enforce that strictly or not)...

Having anyone else know your password is a bad idea in general... You might not stay friends, or they might tell another of their friends, without you knowing, who in turn could tell others, who might even figure out if you are using the same id and password for other websites you have accounts on. You are responsible for any behavior or activity on your account, including posts in the forums, etc. They also might buy stuff from the store, for instance if you have a stored credit card, etc.

Yeah but if i ever suspect that, I will change my password right away. So I guess in the end its just me taking a risk.

You could use LastPass. You can share accounts with people without them having access to the password. So they won't be able to share the password and you can revoke their access at any time. Also, password managers are generally a good way to go.
