Devil Survivor 2. I just couldn't get into the characters or the story. Plus there was a lot of competition for my viewing time for the spring.

I dropped Devil Survivor 2 The Animation I dropped it after the first half of the first episode because of the two male main characters. Especially Hibiki

Inu x Boku Secret Service

I have absolutely no idea what the show was trying to be and if I can't figure that out half way into it, I don't care how it plays out in the second half. I have up when I think there were 4 straight episodes of "things are about to get serious with this new character showing up" cliffhangers followed by episodes of "just kidding, the new character is a one note joke. Here's 15 minutes of that joke."

I won't count shows when I just watched the first episode or two to see what it was going to be like; I don't really think that qualifies as dropping a show since you haven't even really picked it up. It's the difference between just sampling something at the deli and buying it, bringing it home, trying to make something, and then throwing it all out in frustration.

So my answer would be Kotoura-san; I made it to episode 6 before giving up. Awesome first episode though.

Rinne no Lagrange is on hold and potentially dropped as well, although I haven't decided yet. It had a solid beginning and was pretty fun to watch, but it's turning into a show about how high school girls manage the relationships in their lives that just happens to have robots. Which wasn't really what I signed up for really; I'm not a high school girl after all.

The World God Only Knows.

I'm in a love-hate relationship with this anime at the moment. I keep dumping him over and over again. And going back to him. Then dump him again.

I think the story itself is funny, but I just find the characters annoying, the male lead is too tsundere, and the female lead acts clumsy, I'm not into that sort of things.

I enjoyed the first some episodes, but after around episode 5 the show stopped making logical sense. I just couldn't stand how the show turned so unrealistic out of no where. I mean come on, it goes from a guy, having a serious problem (that part I enjoyed) to some high-school girl trying to alter the minds off the whole planet with a laser.

I dropped, no outright rejected, this anime about a shy girl and a popular guy. The guy saves the girl in the first episode by kissing her ON THE LIPS in front of a stalker. He could have just done it on the cheek and pretended. Then on the second episode he kisses her five times, in a dark alleyway at late evening without her consent. Then i watched until episode seven where they gradually fall more and more in love. Then it got boring because the guy semi-lead character rejects a magazine model as his girlfriend just to be with a girl that can't express herself. ... Anyway thing is, while watching all these episode after the first two, none made a as big impression on me as the forced kissing scene. No thing was able to justify it for me. And despite alot of sweet things happening throghout the series, that was the thing that i thought about all the time. I just wanted the guy to repent for his force-kissing in the first episodes. But it didn't happen soon enough so, REJECTED.

Other than that, i've dropped quite a few animes. Too many to name. But it's mostly because i want to savour them, come back to them. But i forget the name.. XD XD XD

Seconding World God Only Knows. I've seen S1, but I think I will be stopping there. I liked Keima, for a harem he was a decent MC and I liked how he actually helped all those girls out by making them fall in love with him - but I really couldn't stand the female characters at all. The gags were nothing knew and all of them were so boring.

I'll probably be dropping Servant X Service depending how ep 3 plays out. I was getting kinda bored last episode.

Wow i didn't think anyone would drop that anime. And the male lead is too tsundere? I must have the wrong idea of what it means... To me he's a genius nerd, a hero in school. I want to play and get top grades. It's just so epic. Well well.
ALSO The World God Only Knows has an opening that i can watch succesively. Even i quite often tend to skip the openings to animes. But TWGOK makes me stuck each time cause it's such good music, abstract animation and awesome synchronization.

Most recently its Gurren Lagann. It looks decent, but I just have soooooo many shows I want to watch that I had to give it the axe. I'm sure I'll get back to it eventually. I've only ever heard good things about it.

But Gurren Lagann is the best mecha ever and maybe best anime ever. Cancel all other shows and watch it now!!!!!!!

It really isn't that surprising. I suppose I may have liked this show a bit more if I watched a couple of years ago, but now I'm just sick of these types of characters (I get that these stereotypes are part of the "joke" in TWGOK but it still got all a bit too cliche for me)

I have to agree about the OP. That was 1:30 of the show that was guaranteed not to be skipped.

I haven't seen an anime with his kind of personality as the lead before so maybe that's why i loooove it so. Gief some links if there's something i've missed. But mainly i love TWGOK because i love gaming. So seeing him game in school, as said, makes him a hero... No, a GOD (of conquest)!! XD

Just to add another dropped anime in my post, Majin tantei nougami neuro. It's about a demon detective using a human girl to make his appearance.. and blame her if he doesn't solve it. ... It's fun but also to me rather grotesque so i'm going back and forth. Watching a episode, then going all like BLEH NEVER AGAIN. But then i love some parts of it so much so i give it another try. At the sixth episode. Let's see if i watch it longer than the rejected anime i wrote about before, which i watched 7 episodes of. :p :p :p
