Ah, okay then.

At least you try and give the series a chance. It seems like others[not all] refuse to at least try to continue. Some will stop and go back, others will stop after two or more episodes. There are some people that will stop half way on episode one never turning back. Strange.

Kill la kill - I gave it 2 episodes, and I really just wasn't feeling it, even though I love the artwork. Maybe another time.
Blood lad - Same thing, kinda just got bored of it. Last episode I watched was episode 5. I also was reading the manga so I may continue that instead.
and right now, maybe Sankarea, but not sure yet. Still deciding. I'm on episode 7 right now, so may just go to the end, half way there.

Sorry there is 3 instead of one

It's two ways with anime with me. Either I've exhausted it, or I'll get back to it later. There is one exception. Detective Conan. F*nimation have the first four or five seasons dubbed, and Anglicizing the names was IMO a mistake. I've had to pay a visit with the Pirates at the Bay for anything beyond that. My excuse for Conan is that I've got to change the file format around so that the Roku can play it. I've been getting more picky with my choices these days... something that I wouldn't be too embarrassed having the kids catching me watch.

I never stop or give up on a show. The reason being that I only watch shows that I already know that I'm going to like. I'm very skeptical so before I watch anything - I use 10-20 mins reading reviews, trailers, Wikipedia and whatnot and after that I'll decide whether its worth my time or not.

A waste of time. A review is the point of view of other person, Wikipedia is just a cold summary, and a trailer is just a random colection of secuences of the series. You better spend those 10-20 minutes actually looking at the first episode and decide for yourself. Have you ever heard of "guilty pleasures"? Sometimes you are going to like a series that everyone else hates. You can even hate that you can enjoy something so bad, but you can't help it, you like what you like and that's fine.

On the other hand... seriously?? It's too much work just to watch anime. Come on, this is entertaiment, you are not going to buy a house.

Not necessarily, i usually spend a little time researching an anime reviews, wikipedia, images, etc.
I just don't want to be dissapointed after watching 3 or so episodes

The latest one that I dropped? Well, I do believe that would be Squid Girl. I generally have a rule when watching a series about comedy, if the first episode can make me laugh, I watch it to the end. Squid Girl failed at that, so very badly. Not a laugh, not a giggle, not a chuckle. I was bored through and through.
If I want to watch a funny show about incompetent Invaders of Earth, I guess I'll just stick to Sgt. Frog, Or Zim.

Kill La Kill.

Three episodes in and I still don't see what makes it so hilarious. Time to give up. Usually I'm more patient, but in a series that's supposed to be funny rather than plot driven, I fail to see how character development and plot could make it better.

I will not be watching S2 of SnK, if it ever comes out. I just don't see what's so smack-my-butt fantastic about it. Emotionally manipulative, flat characters, using violence in order to prove a point/seem edgy, etc. While relatively enjoyable to watch, it falls apart when you think too hard. Much like Doctor Who, but Doctor Who has managed to hold my interest because space travel.

Lol.

Yes I've heard of "Guilty Pleasures" but when I have that kind of feeling about a show - I'd just rather jump to the next one. I don't really care about your opinion on this either because this is just how I do it. We all have our differences you know, and who are you to decide how things should or shouldn't be done.

Pathetic.

Did I get this right? "Yes I've heard of "Guilty Pleasures" but when I have that kind of feeling about a show - I'd just rather jump to the next one." So if you ACTUALLY LIKE a series that you think is bad you drop it anyway? Man, you seriously need to enjoy life! Even if you don't care about my opinion, take it as an advice.

For me, I drop anything that I don't like, and I keep watching till the end what I like, even if it's an stupid series with no merits at all.

Strange, Episode 6 solidified Beyond the Boundary in my list. But hey, different tastes for different people.

And now on topic. I couldn't finish Ixion Saga DT . Something about it made me not able to continue watching after.... apparently half way through episode 3.
