Galilei Donna. The first two episodes were interesting, even engrossing, although I found the end of episode 2 rather suspect. Past that, the plot quickly sloughed away to silliness. I kept hoping for a return to the powerful story-telling of the beginning, but gave up after episode 7, unable to decide if the storyline had become more redundant or ridiculous.

Uchoten Kazoku. The premise seemed interesting, but I watched the first couple of episodes and the style just wasn't what I wanted (it was too comedic for my tastes; I tend to prefer darker/subtler humor).

I don't exactly drop shows, it's more like
●start watching something,
●stop watching it for a bit,
●completely forget about it,
●scroll through Tumblr months later
●'HEY I KNOW THIS ANIME'
.
Guess who has 30+ half finished anime in her queue right now.

Last one I gave up on was was Rosario + Vampire. It's weird to call fanservice "childish" because it's hardly child-friendly, but I just got that vibe from it. I was 200% done with that s~t.

Fairy Tail.

I tried, oh god did I try, but I HAVE to take a break from this show. I'm getting Naruto flashbacks... *shivers*

Shuffle! and Murder Princess

Shuffle was just plain boring and too clichéd, also time had taken it's toll on the animation. I watched the first 13 episodes and skipped straight to the last episode, and man, was I surprised of the girl he ended up with! That's the only plus I can give this anime. This isn't even rom-com and certainly not the classic it's claimed to be.

Murder Princess actually didn't seem all that bad, but fantasy setting and very straight-forward plot and action isn't my kind of thing. Seemed just too simple-minded for me to enjoy.

Attack on Titans. Loved the theme song, thought the plot was so bad that it was good and watched for about 5 episodes and flat out lost interest. I like the art too, it reminds me of Advanced wars days of ruin art direction.

Log Horizon.

Awful pacing. No real incentive to care about the characters or the world they're in (except for maybe the those two kids, but that's pretty sad considering they're basically just a plot device). Way too much attention spent on making the main character seem like some super badass genius when he never really does anything special. No real character growth. No development in their relationships. Just boring and mediocre all the way up through episode 9.

Can't do it anymore. Removed from queue.

Yes, this is a excellent summary of how bad the show is. It has the potential to be worse than Coppelion for the season.

Well, last anime i gave up on...Kyoukai no Kanata. It was going nowhere fast, and from what i hear, it's gotten even worse. Not really a shocker to me but, i told you so lmao

AKB0048. I made it about 6 minutes in. Just horrible. Also, today I gave up on Uta No Prince-Sama 1000% after the first episode. Too feminine for my tastes. I hate reverse harem animes.

SAO
-I watched the first episode to see what it was about, couldn't get past episode 4. It just felt like a re-hashing of .hack// with more action and T&A
Naruto & One Piece
-I started out watching both on tv when I was a kid but once my mom got the cable service cut I grew out of it.
Madoka Magica
-This show lost me after the 2nd episode

Other than the ones listed I don't really give up on an anime. But if the show has over 100 episodes then it gets harder for me to stay interested, especially if the story isn't trying to make any form of progression. Then and only then do I stop watching.

Dude, you have GOT to go back and watch Madoka. You have to. I promise you, if you just make it to episode 11, you won't regret it.

I try not to give up on Anime because I want to see all type of shows out there....

That being said though... I do give up on shows older than like 10 years (with some exceptions) because either the animation or the art or something bothers me... I guess i'm spoiled by newer shows.

I also have quite a big list of shows I started... then started something else about half way through because I usually can only stand the same show for about 4-7 episodes in a row.. but instead of going back i'd see another show.

I probably have over a hundred shows i've seen half way through...
