Opening and closing credit music can add so much to an individual episode or the entire season. What is your method for selecting the music and animation for credits in your stories?

And if I could beg a follow up question, what is one of your favorite open or close music sequences from another director?
Thanks!

To Kiyoko Sayama - You certainly have quite the resume under you belt in the anime industry. You've worked on so many amazing series such as Last Exile, Now and Then, Here and There, Nana, and Blood+ just to name some of my personal favorites. I've noticed that for the series you've worked on that you're either credited with storyboarding, directing, or in some instances both. The question I pose to you is what is the difference in your thought process when you direct a series compared to when you work on the storyboard process? Do you approach directing the same you way you would storyboarding? What are some of the similarities and differences?
