whats your basis for this assumption ?

Naruto still is in the top 10 in the Japanese weekly rating and the manga are selling like candies too. Its just no one talks much about it becuase its a very long running anime of 11 years,

of course the anime has its weakness with all the fillers and stuff... I would skip those and move on , and it needs to reach the younger generation . Indeed the story is basically about Naruto and the world he lives in

and I have been reading the manga but i always stop and wait for the anime to catch up , then watch a bunch of episodes and then I would stop and then I read again.

This is how I enjoy this title.

I was able to meet and greet with Inoue san who Is Kakashi sensei during AX, it was so much fun and I called him Sensei !!! Got a picture with him ,got his autograph !!!Ask him a question !!!Thank you Inoue sensei and the rest of the cast for giving all the characters life !!!
The same goes for the american cast .

Too many retarded fillers. It would be better if they just took a hiatus for some weeks instead.
I got bored of it at ep 281. It was a filler about their moms I would just skip it, but then I heard that the next ep was also a filler, so I just took a break from it instead.

As someone who used to read and watch and was hooked for a few years, but no longer interacts with the series in any way, my answer is just that I lost interest during Shippuden and they never got anything to hook me back again.

Well for one thing, you could start by reading the comment on this thread alone.
Just because it sells and gets viewers every week doesn't mean that people are still enjoying it, that just means they're dedicated fans.
Take the Final Fantasy franchise for instance and how it went to hell.
I know there's still plenty of Final Fantasy fans out there, but there sure is a lot of people who lost faith in the franchise already from the 10'th instalment. Personally I lost interest by 12.

Alternatives:

Make the fillers funny, I hate Naruto fillers but I'm addicted to the funny fillers like Shino laughing or when Naruto and Ino visit the overweight princess, they should focus less on action and more on comedy if they just want to be successful filler

Do what Fairy Tail did and have a hiatus rather than just have filler

Make the show air twice a week although that's very unrealistic

I would take the first option, One Piece proved that fillers can be fun if it doesn't take it self so seriously (Navarone arc) and just try to focus on comedy. That's what most American shows are all about, comedy, that's why it can be episodic because it's a short injection of 30 minute fun rather than a chronological story.

I also heavily agree with the last statement of the poster, the show has so much characters that it doesn't choose to focus on, Naruto isn't exactly the most interesting character in the world so people will start to lose interest which is why you need to focus on other characters to maintain the interest of the Audience. Even if Dr. House is an interesting character, we kind of get what he is all and once we grow bored of him, the show ends. One of the biggest incentives to watch a show is "mystery" "I gotta know what happens next" kind of stuff.

The quality of the anime is prob enough to give naruto a bad name. I mean specially during filler episodes. If you freze frame it looks as if some characters are drawn by 8 year olds, specially white zetsus. Like what the hell white zetsus just stand there all day then jump one by one to get punched and die. If these were the first episodes of naruto someone made me watch I would laugh and never give it a chance.

On the bright side did anyone check the preview for the next episode when madara fights. Looks like they stepped up the animations by alot. Its like a 2 different anime's this latest episode then check the preview for the next.
anyone else see it?

Well either way i don't plan on dropping it just yet, seeing as i have watched it for so long.

Could you give the episode or atleast the rough range of when she appeared as 16-18? Cos the way I remember it, she basically only appeared in the Kakashi Gaiden arc, as a 13 year old girl.

You may be right but they really need to specify on this edo tensei its really annoying. I really dont think edo tensei uses the casters chakra because Kabuto show signs of being tired. Plus they mention how if the user dies the jutsu goes on and on. I think madara just broke kabutos mind control. Plus i wouldnt say Minato whould beat obito but he would damn well stand a chance with infinite chakra. He would be fast like naruto, plus still have his teleportation, plus the nine tails chrakra arms and all that never run out. But this is the annoying thing about naruto, that kind of fight would never happen. I mean they have the ability to do amazing things but just wont do it or wont mention it. Like why wont minato just to like a thousand bijudamas or a million clone. Or why wont obito do it. Or even madara, he proved that each of his clones can handle kages and he can make it rain comets. Clearly this level of power can never accuratly be used in the naruto setting. Man it made much more sense in season 1 when the power levels were more tangible

Yea you're right, but I think we won't get much out of Madara seeing as he's already beaten the hokages with great power. Think about how fast Obito is now tho. He cut the first and second in half before they even realized it, he was fast enough to take off Mianto's arm before him teleporting away. The way things are, I don't see a logical way of Obito being defeated, seeing as he's the strongest on the battlefield .But yea, the power distribution is really off with this show

Well i dont remember the specific episode, but it was during one of the recent fillers she appeared more grown up than she should have been. In the manga later on she was most certainly younger looking.

The DBZ Fusion and power level shit is getting on my nerves. Wtf Naruto? WTF! Kill Obito already and get back to Madara. Tired of this over powering spirit bomb making Obito. The old Naruto feel is completely gone now. Just end the war and make Madara the main villain again and start over per-say. Everyone is like a super saiyan now. DO NOT LIKE
