For some reason, Watamote doesn't appear on my ipad's crunchyroll app. Is that bad?

Do you have "Show Mature Content" set in your Video Preferences (here on the site)?

It isn't on by default and is a common cause of missing programming on the iOS app.

Thank you, wise wizard. But I saw the first 5 minutes of episode 1, and I didn't find it graphic at all. :/

You're welcome.

CR's reasoning in setting something as "mature content" isn't always obvious. I think with this series, it is likely more to do with "mature themes", rather than graphic content.

I'm gonna post here saying that these problems have been occurring for me throughout the year. One week I'll have terrible stream quality and the next month I'll be fine. Then I'll go for multiple months on end with problems on and off throughout the day...

I have no other problems with other services. Youtube, Hulu, Netflix, everything else loads HD videos JUST fine. SURELY there is a way you guys could add some account settings tweak to our page that will say, let us control where our stream feed is coming from? I figure I'm getting bounced off bad mirrors for the stream and that's leading to my poor connection so just let me choose where my feed is coming from or...

I just want this to stop. I'm getting really tired of it and my patience for this problem is growing thinner each day. I know this is the first I've posted here about it but it clearly is not an uncommon problem. Why I am having problems with CR and nothing else is what's frustrating me.

EDIT: Just did that trick for shutting off the built in flash for chrome and while it helped, I'm still getting lag on 1080p videos when I didn't have that like, a few days ago.

EDIT 2: And it's still affecting other video quality levels. I still have to sit and give the video a minute to load properly. And at times the video will just come to a complete stop.

It was working ok for a while but the last week I've had problems with EVERYTHING I've tried to watch. Episodes just straight up stopping, stuttering, hiccuping. I'm on 18Mbs, and judging by how many other people are having problems, it isn't us. This is the kind of stuff that ends accounts.

Same here on all video quality settings and all somewhat recently within the last few months. I'm fairly certain it relates, at least to some degree or another, the amount of server load going on for CR at the time. If I attempt to watch shows in the early morning, I have no issues with streaming at all.(or few issues, anyway). If I attempt it at any time during prime evening hours, I get completely unusable service. I know for a fact it is nothing on my end, as I can use many other flash based streaming services at the same time without running into as many issues, minus some exceptions which actually exhibit the same circadian-like behavior. In attempts to measure download speeds in the evening, I've used speed tests as well as torrenting the Ubuntu distribution (from Canonical's site), which maxes out my connection--all is fine in terms of speed and the difference is negligible between morning and night. I've tried different browsers, etc. as well. I haven't bothered contacting any form of support here simply because I don't think there is anything at all that can be done from their end, short of CR revamping their servers to accommodate the user base more appropriately. I've literally given up attempting to watch anything in the evenings, as CR is completely worthless to me in prime hours. That gives me a tiny time slot in the early morning to attempt to watch a single episode, assuming I have the time. Unless there is some sort of acknowledgement of the problem, I'm not going to keep paying for something I now cannot use--and I've been a premium member for years now.

I too am having issues with everything stuttering, hiccuping, and just flat out stopping regardless of what video quality i choose. I Know my computer and connection can handle this stuff. I've been in contact with customer support for a while now . Nothing has worked and with the amount of complaints about similar issues I'm guessing this is on CR's side. This is beyond frustrating and it makes me wish my subscription was going to end soon. I would be much happier if someone from CR admit its on their side .

Crunchyroll, guys, seriously, we need to have an intervention here.

It's NOT some isolated cases. This is becoming alarminly common and even though I love the service and site I can't justify paying you guys for a service that simply does not work half the time. This is becoming ridiculous, and you guys don't even pretend to admit there might be a problem. You just keep telling us to "change our DNS settings" or whatnot. Well, guess what, it's not on our end. Countless cases have show this. And if you don't do something, and soon you ARE going to lose customers, myself included.

Im getting the same thing. Both connection and computer are more then enough to handle 1080p. Yet im getting stuttering in 720p, seems to be during peak hours mostly tho, so probably a bandwidth issue on CRs side.

Be it on our side or theirs, I've set my default quality to SD (which looks great on my TV -_-) but it still starts each video at 1080p.

You should change your Video Preferences so that your default quality is SD/480p or whatever you want.

I was having problems the other day, but all I had to do is restart my computer, and for some reason, that did the trick...I couldn't find anything else that may have caused it.

I know that that sounds way too simple, but if you haven't tried it, just give it a shot. >_<''

I only posted that because I had tried that, it was already set to SD and it continues to start the next episode in 1080P
