Heyhi! Sorry to let you know this, but Playlist.com has stopped offering playlist services lately, therefor this is no longer possible :(
Sorry

After playlist's recent switch to an internet radio service, the embedded players stopped working. So for the time being, you are unable to embed music on your profile.

No problem. And I agree 100% that it's too bad :/, music use to be a huge part of me making my profile themes, they feel much less complete without music to go with them, hopefully they will realize their new idea sucks, but it's doubtful :/

It's not so much that they wanted to do it as a new idea; the music industry forced them into it. It's the same for any other internet music service: if you as a user can play exactly what you want on demand without paying some sort of a license fee somehow, (paying being the big thing) instead of it being (mostly) random (albeit directed, or influenced) choice then there's a lawsuit waiting for you. You can listen to random music free on services like Pandora (with occasional commercials) and now Playlist, because that encourages and allows you discover music you especially like, thus making you want to actually buy it so you can play it whenever you want to hear it. Having a site set up, as playlist used to be, completely eliminates any need to buy anything, because why buy anything if you can just play what you want at anytime?

Not saying I necessarily agree or condone the activity, but it's not so different than watching pirate videos, when you think about it a bit. How else would the music industry be able to pay their artists to write new music without getting any revenue from it? If my career and income was due to producing music, I sure wouldn't want someone else to just give it away without any sort of royalty income at all. But free samples and exposure on a radio station are what has always driven sales, otherwise how would you be exposed to anything new? So that's why you can listen at all.
